master pistoleer..bh 0040...smuggler 0040..and novice commando.

Ive been pistoleer since the beginning,,,and ive done all the defensive stacking combo's,,,pistoleer/fencer/tk or some combination. What i realized very fast,,,is that even with stacked defenses i still got owned by the combo listed above...Reason i found was that last ditch is the best pistol special in game and no matter how much defense i stacked,,,i couldnt get around this. The accuracy from BH...make last ditch uber powerful even against pistoleer/fencer with the stacked dodge, as the accuracy and dodge cancels out.

I dont really want to hear much from the defensive stackers,,,because ive been there,,done that and your simply wrong. But from a offensive point of veiw,,,is this the best combo? I would like to hear a couple opinions on this. Ive tried a few things like getting a KD from TK,,but i found it was too hard to switch to pistol after the knockdown to be very effective in game.

Last point,,is that this combo allows launcher pistol,,,,so i literally can use,,scatter, de10, geo, dx2, and launcher which gives me alot of options.

So is there a better offensive template than this?

Also,,,if someone wants to say something about the effect of this force-sens combate accuracy,,,id love to hear some more stuff on that.

Not only are you rude, which makes you an idiot, but you dont even know what your talking about. That novice commando does NOTHING for you skill wise. It just lets you have certifications for a few new weapons. You get NO NEW MODS from that what-so-ever, and if your really in the game to win, as it were, its a waste of skill points. Ubesane is on the right track w/ the TK line. Somone w/ his template could beat somone w/ the template you mentioned.

1-0-0-0 Medic + 0-0-2-0 BH > Novice Commando + 0-0-4-0 BH.

Novice Commando is only worth having if you plan on doing a base raid and need to take out turrets. In which case I'd drop Medic and pick up N.Commando for just that day.

Medic is needed in you really PvP. Like you said, LastDitch is great, it's nice to be able to heal health and action to counter the random pool shots. Not to mention grab a +25 treatment shirt and make your stims even more effective.

As for BH, the extra speed is unecessary since you're capped at 0020. The added accuracy also does not make a noticable difference between 0020 and 0040, I've tested it. Torso shot is not needed in PvP.

scrap novice commando and get novice medic. or get 0200 tka. depends on who you fight/how you fight.

ty for post Altair,,,ya, your right about the 0020 bh and how that really doesnt hurt accuracy too much. I would love to get some medic (even novice) but i still wouldnt have the skill points if i went down to bh 0020, and dropped novice commando.

for some of you others,,,yes, I know this is a common template, and i phrased my post in a way to get answers i wanted. If you dont like,,,too bad. I just didnt want to hear about all the defensive stacking templates...ive heard it all before. Sorry if the little children thought i was rude. lolol.

And Altair ive actually read that after combat balance,,the +12 for force sens accuracy is going to turn into a percentage. Maybe i could go down to 0020bh,,but DAM, i do love eye shot sometimes, especially when your dueling a rifleman/doc or some combination with medic.

Anyone else got a better Offensive template.?

well,,,bh is good for 3 or 4 things,,,that i dont think can be made up for in other proffessions. First Accuracy does not cap,,,so with Bh you have crap loads of it. I have found this to be invaluable simply because of all the dodge stackers out there. Accuracy and dodge have a direct correllation as im sure you guys all know. Second, the scatter pistol. This in particular is very difficult for me too give up. I have a couple scatters thats do the same damage as my De10,,and they have been very hard to find. Third, Eye shot of course. The problem with Last ditch shot is always against medics or docs. ONly way to OWN these proff. is to switch to eye shot in the middle of duel after they have been healing themselves,,,and 3 seconds later they are on the ground.

Eye shot and accuracy cannot be replaced in another proffession. Good point though.And yes it does take alotof points,,especially the master marksman (has anyone ever pulled out amarksman rifle or carbine...lol). Any other ideas.?
