Aww poor guy.

I got lucky 2 days ago.

104 dam tissue, yellow barrel, and got sliced to 442 damage...

Not the best possible slice, but still.

But i feel for u mate.

I shouldn't complain really, the max damage is about 440 unpupped. And I'm not speedcapped unless I spam Pistol Speed stims so the .6 seconds shaved off does help.... a bit.. I suppose.

Tough luck, bro. I was the all-time king of speed slices on WH. I had roughly 20 custom Krayt Geo's and around 4 or 5 DE-10'smade and all but 2 got speed slices... TWO!!! I ended up just paying an arm and some fur for pre-sliced ones. I got a 30% speed slice on one and I was griping about it. The smuggler said, "That's a really good slice, you shouldn't be upset." Yeah, I need a speed slice while speed capped.

My condolences... Maybe in the future the dev's will think about making slicing less random.... *Crosses fingers*

Yeah, that would be nice... or even better, giving us an option of either a dmg or speed. Now that would rock. I think that there was actually a petition going around on the smuggler forums for this. Not sure though.

Many people want less random slicing but few see the effect on smuggler. Without the 100% random outcome, instead of getting a create of 25 weapons slied or 3 or 4 really good weapons, the smuggler is only slicing 1 or 2 weapons. Unless the smuggler raises his or her prices up drastically, they are loosing out big time.

I wouldnt mind being able to give my customers 35% damg slices every time, it breaks my heart to see a krayted weapon get a speed slice, however, I would never get a large scale slicing contract from a weaponsmith again if i could do that.

It sucks

That's a good point. Personally though, I would be willing to pay a LOT more credits to ensure a good damage slice--even more than I'd pay to randomly slice enough individual weapons to get the same result. I wonder if people would really complain if Smugglers raised their prices dramatically, but got the better results. You'd get what you pay for, instead of paying for a roll of the Roulette wheel.

eeeek, that kinda sux, especially if you're speed capped.

well, my sorrys for your loss of great potential there....

on a side note, I can just imagine what I would have thought after slicing that weapon (I happen to be a Master Smuggler on Gorath).....

*slices pistol*

(Slicer thinks) "oh sh#@, this guy is going to rip my arms off....." (sinking feeling in stomach)

(Slicer says, in a shaky voice) "All set.....uhm...eh...it was a great 17%....s...s...sp...speed...speed slice"

(Slicer trades and subsiquently burst runs outta there)

1. I heard Yellow Text means nothing.

2. If you are NOT speed capped, speed slices are just as good as damage slices (IMHO)

3. Be happy you even HAVE a DE-10 - most people never will...
