Okay, I finally got a geo pistol then got it sliced by a smuggler. Omg do they suck horrible dmg i can't believe it. Also doesn't really attack mind like i though or psn or disease? So little lost on that one. Also says iam not certified but iam a master pistoleer?

well thats a bug, if your a master pistoleer your supposively certifide to use one, and the only reason why the damage would suck is becuase your not certifide to use one.

show me any weapon that exclusively targets a certainpool, and i'll show you a weapon that doesn't exist.

show me a crafted weapon with a poison or disease on it, and likewise.

show me a looted geonosian pistol, and i'll show you a not-so-great pistol.

scuse me, ive got a 390 damage looted geo pistol. powers up to 517 with a good P-up. sliced it myself as well.

my geo does pretty good. but in comparison to the armor pierce of my dx2.. i usually notice a majority of damage being done with my dx2 is better then my geo. under certain circumstances it literally seams like my dx2 bounces off someone (must be a sweet sliced effect on the chest and head on the acid resist) then i switch to my geo and then i like the numbers i see in the combat window

episode II: i am no longer smuggler i no longer fear the cork guns or the delay on the delay for the revamp.. leave a message after the beep when revamp comes and then i shall return. but then maybe i will show them and do a delay on my return.. ha!!! take that soe (if they have not frustrated me more then i already am)

Where did you get your pistol? Was it weaponsmith-crafted or looted? If the latter, that's why it sucks. There are very few looted geo pistols worth a damn. The highest damage I've seen on a looted one was 130.But the schematic that wepaonsmiths need to make 'em is rare as hell, so good luck getting your hands on one. Even providing the krayt tissue myself, it cost me 1.4 mil to have my geo pistol made by a weaponsmith who had the schem. -grumble- And then it got a speed slice. -grumbles some more- 1.8 spd 287 dmg unpuped. -sigh-

your not using it right

before you rush in geno( lol just to annoy some ppl) blasting do /ex on your target see what they are resistant to if its stun then carry on

is its not STOP change weapons then carry on

also its good in pvp because armoured people have either low or no resists to stun, and if they have no resists itll cut through the armour like butter.

if you want to target their mind become a

dirty dabbler and dabble in bh for good speen and eue shot

My looted Geo was 110-190 1.9 unsliced

got a speed slice on it, it's now 1.4 ZHICH I DO NOT MIND: the speed at which I can spam fanshot and last ditch makes up for it.

BTW: for pvp I use a min dam +33 pup... I'd rather deal damage a bit lower and consistent, then having to hope for a high hitter.

What is the actual skill requirement for a Geo?? I have very few skill points and I would not want to waste them.

yes pistol tech 2 is the cert for geno blaster it says so on the gun...at the bottom of the description if you look at the "certified" at the top it always says "no" that's a bug

anyway I have a geno blaster 2.0 spd 250 dmg and I hit comp armored individuals for about 800 dmg with fan shot or last ditch

There are some looted genos that have mind poison on them and also some looted genos that have stat modifiers I have a looted one with +4 pistol spd +4 accuracy while standing +4 group terrain neg.

They dont suck you just have to have the right one for your play style and it has to have good stats.
