I lost it on the Holocron post. Please tell me I didn't have to go post there for all the wrong reasons. Have you ever seen me lose my cool like that? I haven't. So disappointing. This isn't quite as fun as it use to be.
IMO you dont ask the masses how to balance something. Sure, you ask them for what new content they want, what's fun and what's not, but you don't ask them to rebuild a flawed system. Have you ever met a group of MMORPG'ers that DIDNT think their chosen profession was gimped? Goodgrief.
Obviously my role is just to send one email every....2 months is it now? That says we're in pathetic shape and that we are gimped. What a world I live in. Maybe I don't look forward to spending my time doing that, if that's the way it's going to be. Some of you were right. Bolanos, yeah man, you NEED MORE ACCURACY, Get cracking buddy, it seems that's they way to go. Yeti..you say we need mind pool attacks? I agree 100% freaking percent. Dual wielding? Why they F())& isn't this in the game already, I'm canceling if it's not in. Smuggler..you think we should have more pistol speed?? BRING IT ON.

Man ya need to get a grip. You dont even KNOW what broken is. The Pistoleer class is one of the best coded classes in the game and all Pistoleers seem to do is bitch.
Broken is not being able to advance 2 of your 4 trees like me.
Broken is haveing to pay someone outragouse amounts to get droids to try to complete broken missions.
Broken is haveing each and everyone of your skill nerfed while Pistoleers are promised NEW skills.
Point is be happy with what you have because as a Pistoleer you guys have it nice.
Whether or not you're willing to admit it. Check out DE, BE, Ranger, and Commando. Then defend this postion.

Even the dang profession correspondent is a "cry-me-a-river" pistoleer! No wonder why everyone hate your profession with a passion.
Well, its good to see that the Devs have their sights on your over-powered butts! I just hope they nerf you so bad that you are on the biggest gimps of the combat professions.

Jageen i implore please repost that on the dev boards, as its own thread. Its so many pages back it probably wont be read, i tried using cut/paste to repost it as its won thread but it wouldnt let me.I think it had to do with colored text, if ya can repost it i'll be sure to bump it periodically tommorow so we can hopefully get a dev response.I can tell you if you repost this as its own thread it should get responded too.
Hang in their Jag i read most the other proffesion boards and you seem to be head and shoulders above the rest, many proffesions actually have alot of people wanting their correspondents changed due to lack of effort on their partand some are just pretty much MIA.
I dont want them gimped but they should appreicate what they DO HAVE.
Man I am sick of nerfs.

I read his post the ONLY BROKEN command is the master level command.
All others WORK.
That is NOT THE CASE for other proffessions.
So what he is REALLY complaining about is that BS3 doesnt OWN as much as it SHOULD.
Great I hope they fix that. But I hope they FIX COMMANDOS first.
Which is more important to fix an attack that already works or to fix an entire class that doesnt?

Lol why don't you trolls beat it, i bet neither you bothered to even read the post he was refering too if you did you would see that some of the fixes he is talking about also involve nerfing us.Concentrate on getting your own classes fixed instead of trolling here.
The BH vs pistoleer arguement is dead or would be if the BH's would let it drop.The BhIS more proficient and is supposed to be more proficient with a pistol apparently, we were pretty much told so in our designer responses.They said they cant compare classes when we asked to be equivalent with BH.
BH has more bonuses then pistoleer but less specials ,thats the way it is and will probably stay.You guys always forget about your other 2 weapons lines, and always fail to mention that you almsot always double specialize in either the pistol or carbine line to get even more bonuses and special.I dont fault you guys for double specializing either itsabout the only option you guys have with the amount of pointsyou have left.
The pistoleer line isa bit unbalanced and a bitbroken it just happens that we are the least broken and unbalanced of the lines.
No, he's not saying thats the ONLY broken command. He DID outline, very clearly, that BS3 does LESS damage then BS2! Which is a MARKSMEN skill! Duh? Hello? Sound like its works to you? Is it worth 750,000 xp for a skill which is beaten by a skill in the marksmen tree for the same weapon? Thats just one example. I still use BS2, I am 0 0 3 1 in the pistoleer tree. The only pistoleer skill I use is healthshot 2, which makes targets bleed, which btw I got at novice pistoleer.
And NO our correspondant is NOT a whiner. That is the WHOLE POINT OF HIS THREAD. Should he have to be whiner, or our whole profession gets nerfed? Nerfed how? Make body shot3 worse than body shot 1? Does it matter? Because I will still use body shot 2. Or maybe nerf all the other skills that we dont use either because BODY SHOT 2 IS THE BEST SKILL A PISTOLEER HAS! I'm still progressing in the skill, but whats the point unless they fix these issues? I might as well just keep the novice so I can use the DX2....oh, wait, the DX2 sucks! Anyway, Jaggen, I have read most of your posts, and I see exactly what your saying. You really tried to be level headed about it, but I guess they want you to whine and complain, like everyone else, or they will ignore everything you say.
Let's sum this up real quick:
Pistoleers are overpowered because we have knockdown skills.
Lots of classes have knockdown skills.
Somehow the conclusion becomes: the other classes *aren't* overpowered, but we are?
The pistoleer tree is full of useless modifiers that don't work or aren't needed. This is ALL OF THEM except pistol speed, which the Bounty Hunters get more of anyway. The pistoleer tree is full of abilities that no one in their right mind would actually use. Why have all these pointless abilities? This class is as much of a hackjob as any of the others.

or a little from both in this guys case. pistoleer isnt overpowered, smuggler/pistoleer is. mwhahaha.
