Thread: Best pistol in the game? Jeagan Look Here
I hear alot of discussion, and I think I've found the "best" pistol in the game.
The Republic Blaster.
190-297dam, 2.2speed, AR 1, energy, 30% slice, 30% powerup on max damage
By far the best pistol I've ever seen on the Eclipse server. But heres the big problem. WE CANT USE IT! The dang certification for this gun is broken. Look at skill sheet under certs, oooh lookey there a republic blaster cert, equip blaster, "You cant use that because we havent fixed our game yet"
So theres something jeagan can look at pushing, getting us our republic blasters fixed. Maybe have the Certification put at a higher level, to insure tht people go into our trees, maybe at master stances and grips?
Sure the gun looks like some womans sexual aid with a handle, but it sounds pretty cool, and fires really neat looking blaster bolts. And look at those stats!, I havent seen any other guns to compete with stats like that on the Eclipse server, if anyone has, Send me an ingame tell, Felkeen.
They can also be crafted, often with some very nice stats. This will be an instant favorite for a lot of people when they fix the cert.
To use the Blaster you have to be a Rebel Sergeant or Staff Sergeant, not sure which and not sure if you have to be overt.
Yes, odd that it can be crafted huh?
Funny, cause if you're running around using it, and using it WELL then people would pretty much know where your allegence lies right? Covert that is...

We have the republic blaster certification request in our issues post that we sent in last week, along with some other weapon I've neither seen or heard of (possibly someone got confused on the naming...oh well ![]()
republic blasters do energy damage, which IMO doesn't make them the best, but they certainly aren't a bad gun. I almost bought one the other day just in case...but who knows what will be done with them.
Accuracy looks too good to be true, a few have mentioned it's an error.
I was told you had to be human to use this. Guessing that was wrong of course now after reading the board here but it did come from a very reliable source.
