At least this correspondent is always on the case...
Listen Badger.. no offense here... but wasnt it someone else teh Pistoleer Correspondent? Just before the CU...
I only returned recently... and I could have sworn our correspondent wasnt you.

gah....most correspondants have changed....caylin used ot be smuggler correspondant...garvin the commando one....can't remember who was pistols corr 6 months ago....
but I have to say, pistoleer, carbineer, commando and smuggler have always had very dedicated and good correspondants

I knew it! it had to be LordMaxx or Tanks... I knew i remembered him!
My account expired right during the first moments of the CU (first or second day of it) so i never did end up seeing what happened post CU BUT I do remember how devasted the pistoleer comunity was during the test phase of CU.... LordMaxx tried to get a lot working for us and failed... a lot of us took it on him... I think it was most unfair...
Still... I remember you LordMaxx... DE-10 Salute for you!
And Badger... You bring Honor to the Pistoleer Forums with your quick answers to our silly questions. I am sure that LordMaxx is happy to have you as his successor.

LordMaxxdidn't fail at all.
He kept pushing Pistoleer issues until the CU came out which completely revamped the profession without much in the way of input from the Pistoleer community.
There was no Alpha Testing for the correspondents as promised and a lot of the correspondents were angry about that.
Add to that the fact that he just didn't like the CU, I guess he felt the need to pass on the position to someone else.
I think he did a great job.

eh... ok, no offense.
What I meant was that he (and the pistoleers) wanted and were expecting quitea different outlook on pistoleer. When the CU hit and we realised that we got nothing of what we were expecting.... well quite a few were disappointed with Pistols... a lot were pissed off at LordMaxx... and I think the worst was teh disappointement that LordMaxx himself felt for the treatment he received from the devs.
I liked him a lot and yes I was as pissed off as him (maybe not as hurt though) as he was when we found out what had they done to the Pistoleer. Thats why I left the game... I started playing with full intention of being a pistoleer and still am a pistoleer... I want to change it.. but I really like the pistoleer idea so I keep on being a pistoleer.
I still dont understand the difference between a rifle and a pistol in the CU....
Except for range... what else is different... oh yes.. SAC... thats about it, isnt it? My pre cu rifles shoot pretty well, I feel that this is really stupid!
What exactly is the point on usinga pistol instead of a Rifle?
Meh.... CU was, if not a deathblow, then at least an incap to SWG... then again... there are a lot of good things as well.... still... Ive seen BH at it with Jedi... and the battle is won by the one who can heal the better! YUK!!! its not about dmg these days.. its how fast you can heal...
