As the owner of GameReformer.Com (which is now closed) I can attest that this kind of banter is complete garbage. We have seen in a very direct fashion that the devs do care!You must give them positive/ constructive feedback and some time to get the job done. Statements like these are NOT helpful whatsoever.


Nobody wants the system to become unbalanced again like it was pre CU. There aremany factors to consider when we discuss change.Though there are still some issues to iron out, we're closer now to balance then we've ever been. For allthe challenges post CU and all the resulting frustrations, I'm having more fun in combat then I've had since I joined SWG.


I think it would do us all some good to keep that in mind as we make our comments.

If you know anything about pistoleer pre-cu i would rethink what is written. A 748 dmg DE-10 pre CU was very good but not , in any way, " god mod". A simple shot with it on a high armor , average energy resist target would show the difference between a xxx dmg AP1 weapon and a weapon of equal or even 20% less damage and AP3.


Getting a +7xx damage DE-10 was not something easy. It was dependant of considerable resource searching , good weaponsmithing skills and a lucky slice. And theDWB was not pistoleer heaven .


He has all the reasons to be sad and unhappy. After devoting lots of time to get such a weapon, many non-krayted stuff ended up with the same stats. The DE-10 conversion process, and to a extentof all krayted weapons,was clearly faulty,


The DE-10itself, for newly crafted ones, suffers from damage shortage considering the trouble it forces the owner .

I noticed right off Burst shot rarely sticks and I am applying imp overwhelming shot from Smuggler first too.

Overwhelming shot is currently bugged and doesn't help stick states. Shock from CM does, and the effect is very noticable.


I hear Overwhelming shot is fixed on TC so you should be able to stick states a lot better in the next patch.


If only Stun actually worked and the cone AoE didn't aggro everthing 64m behind the target.

I have a suggestion, I know the attacks are now generic, not specific from any particular profession. But I think for example the point to solve the problem with stopping shot, for example, is to make this attack a 35m range attack (in fact is a pistoler attack and we dont have more range, why others could fire at long ranges? non sense for me, if you are using a 35m range attack, then use that range only). Of course if I'm a pistoleer and I'm using a rifleman attack give me the option to use this attack at his 60m range, that could be the option to help to improve other professions like carbineer and pistoleer.
I know this is going to go up dabbling, but at least not only the pistoleer will be the only one dabbled.


Generic attacks, but range specific attacks.

What do you think?

Devs,

do me a favour please:

Make a Masterpistoleer/MBH, get a Krayt-Scatter with 1.2 speed and (your modified) 548 DPS (thats my pistol).

Get a speed (adrenalin) buff from a doc, throw in a mandalorian wine (or breath of heaven) and a neutron pixi.

Your action regenration is maxed now.

Now use a sequence like Advanced Critical-Advanced Quickdraw and let this go for a few...

What do you say Devs ? Your action was running out after 10 seconds ?

WHAT A PITTY...so you cant play this profession ?

Can we have a look into the hillarious actioncosts on pistols please ?

I think THIS should be TOP#1, i dont know what other pistoleers are using, maybe i do something very wrong, but i thought so far a fight should last at least 10 seconds, before im annoyed by "TOO TIRED" spam over my head...

What is the SAC cost on your gun? With my low SAC gunsI can spam quickdraw/bodyshot (bodyshot has the same action cost as adv. critical) for a minute and a half with doc buffs, blob candy and booster blue.


My guess is your Krayt Scater has SAC of around 110 'cause you went all out for DPS.

Sir, I thought SAC was always based on the weapon, so all specials had the same action cost with the same weapon. If that isnt the case, is there someplace that indicates what the actual Action cost is for each special based on the weapon SAC?

The action cost you use for each special is determined by the SAC of yourweaponand the action cost of the special itself.


So if you have a Krayt Pistol with 110 SAC and you use Body shot, you will use a lot more action than you would with a Pistol with 65 SAC.


You can also use "Reinforced Stock" powerups that can give up to 29.7% SAC reduction, so you will have about 45.5 SAC on the gun.


We don't have any hard numbers yet, but try out a low SAC gun and see how much difference there is. Also, have a read of the guide to buying and crafting pistols that is stickied.

my SAC on the wep is 74.

Still im running out of action after...poohh...20 secs ?
im CONSTANTLY shooting like a AK-47 tho:-P

1.2 speed:-P

It happens, that doctor buff makes you fire at crazy speeds. Try some Reinforced Stock powerups, that should drop the SAC down a lot.

what do you have as your default shot?, i find if i have ranged shot as my default, and work my specials around it, I never drop below half. Standing and spamming your powerful shots, doesn't work now. Think about your next shot, plan ahead, react to what the opponent is doing.


Try and keep you mark under states, intimidate, stun, dizzy and add in the occasional critical or body shot or torso for a nice bleed.
