Thread: Guide : Pistoleer in the Combat Upgrade
Added info for dabblers and another macro, I'd like some info from anyone who has Pistoleer and a melee prof on how that works out. I think I should add TK as a viable profession comboas the innate armour would work well.

As far as I know, you can tell if a SEA works if the mod shows up in your character sheet.
As mods like Pistol Accuracy while Standingno longer exist then I'd say they dont work, what should have happened is that they would have been converted into Pistol Accuracy SEA's, which would show up on your char sheet and give you a bonus.
Istill have Pistol Speed SEA's and they work fine, so should General Ranged Speed SEA's.
More speed is always good to shave 0.1 seconds off special recovery times with the goal being to get the recovery timers on the longer specials reduced by another second.
Pistol Accuracy and General Ranged Accuracy SEA's are the accuracy ones you are after.
The other ones you want too look out for are Melee Defence, Ranged Defence and PIstol Defence.
Hehe, that's one way to get this thread stickied... become correspondent and do it yourself! ![]()
Nice additions too, everybody profession should have something like this.
BadgerSmaker,
Are you in the same boat as many Pistoleers in that we are interested more in max damage & SAC stats for a weapon than modified DPS? I never really look at modified DPS and I don't speed PuP my weapons. I can't seem to fire more than 1 shot every 2 seconds due to cooldown timers and what not.
I'd just like our new correspondent's position on this matter.

I dont look at DPS either, its a guide but I look at max damage, sac then speed.
Coolio. Thanks for puttin' that "on the record".
My opinion isn't what counts, its the facts... ![]()
Should I say something that doesn't add up please feel free to put me right.
He also has quite a bit of info about the carbineer specials. Maybe go check it out and copy/paste?

It was either that or bump it, and bumping is so unseemly.
