i see one problem 110+60 is 170 not 180
second rifelmen have terible accuracy while moving and almost no defence
Besides a Rifle sould be a far more accurate wepon compared to a pistol. But there again it should be more useless close in...
Techincally a pistol doesn't need to BE that accurate, because in theory you'll be firing so fast you ought to be able to hit something. Also take in to effect the weight of a pistol. If kneeling or standing still, a pistol should be fairly accurate. Of course this is in 'reality'. =)
I love those questions and especially the one the dude wrote about all the broken specials. I think I agree close to 100% about everything he said. Stopping shot SHOULD force kneel. Melee Defense 2 SHOULD cause Dizzy (that would be awesome). Disarming shot SHOULD-- DO ANYTHING!! =) Really, I love the idea that they should disarm a person for a good few seconds. Hey, wha? That sounds cheap as hell? Well good. We deserve something that utterly p i s s e s off all the major-combat classes who not only KILL butstill complain thier classes need fixes.=)
Double Pistols would be great too, and I don't think it'd be hard to do. You can make it left hand and right hand, and they fire just like they should. I.e. Right had FWg5 fires at it's speed and it's damage, Left hand DL44 fires at it's rate and it's Damage. Specials would be combined, maybe? I dunno, that would be tricksy now that I think about it. One new special could be a real Multi-Target shot, where both arms focus on two targets within a certain cone.
Holsters would be purely cosmetic, but I think we should have 'em. Nothing would be cooler than having a pistol slung low on your hip. There could be a 'holster' inventory slot, where which you can walk around unarmed, but when you are aggroed, it automatically comes in to your hand. Different styles would work, too. Boot holster, under arm, hip, belt... that'd be cool.
