Melee defense one is also called pistol whip it is a melee ranged knockdown.

Fix the resists and leave the knockdown alone. There already is a game mechanic in place to counteract knockdown, but it doesnt work. Fix this please? Try and imagine that knock down didnt work all of the time? Imagine that every 10 points in knockdown resist gave you a 15% to 20% chance to resist knockdown. At least at that point the person getting knocked down would have the chance to get -some- moves in. Some of you out there are hoping SOE/Verant willhave a 'knee jerk' with this and 'bust' knock-downto a 1 min timer.This will hurt the community as a whole becauseyour class might be next. Do we want this kind of behavior from SOE/Verant? Honestly?Pistols are getting attention early, but what happens 3-6 months from now when you have hundreds (or possibly thousands) ofhours invested in your character andVerantdoes a 'knee-jerk' on your class. Sure, you can delete the skills that took you hundreds of hours to create, it sure is easy todelete all that time and effort isnt it?Slow down and analyze this!The feeding frenzy on theknockdown nerf is ill placed, andthe community doesnt want this kind of service from SOE/Verant anyway. Let's make them work and fix the real problem instead of letting them off easy with a stupid nerf.



It is too bad that people are screaming nerf when there is an appropriate solution that helps everyone in both pvp and pve.

Knockdown doesn't need a nerf. They just need to fix the knockdown defence skill. Then PvP is good, and PvE is good.

I am tired of nerfs period. I like to be able to hunt and solo powerful creatures every nerf lessens my enjoyment.

if they are going to delay it, they should make it just a few seconds longer than it takes any creature to get back up and get a few hits in before you can slam it down again, a minute seems a bit drastic

Alright I'll try that after knockdown is nerfed, but I'd rather see grouping fixed instead of going back to soloing
