Ranged saport colume in marksman(submission fire is a posture change shot)






ranged saport colume is a last resort for me, but threaten shot is not to bad in pve.

0 skill points left. I don't really likedoing away withmedic completely, but like someone said, the point of this is to not get hit a lot. Right now I'm Doc 0440, Smuggler 0040, and Pistoler 2444(moving from Doc/Smuggler to a more PvP build), andthe Smuggler moves are basically the only ones I ever use. TKA to meditate away your wounds andPB, Fencer for all the defences and so you can use melee effectively. The three footwork skills are basically leftover, for some added state change defense. Maybe you could move them to Precision striking for ranged/melee defense? This is probably not going to be as effective after the defense cap goes in, buy hey, who knows when that'll be? Also it would help to get a hold of a fewnice pistol speed tapes.

do know whats funny about the templates there gonna be crap after the balance so its useless now. You wont be able to stack defense or dogde or any of that stuff and it really sucks.

LOL This is so true! Right now especially. I had this template through 3 CH nerfs. Finally decided last week with the GCW heating up that MCH is a waste SP in PvP.

rumor on TC is a hard cap of 120 of defenses. That being said, other than fencer + Pistol templates, many of these will still work fine



Most importantly, the BH Pistol 4/Master Pistoleer may be the best template due to high accuracy, that will counter capped defenses. As well, any combo with TKA will also enjoy their accuracy. IMO, the Pistoleer + TKA + Dirty 4 will be the best template around. You can then decide what to do with the extra skillpoints..some will like medic, some mastering smuggler, some take some other defenses that arent capped......

Not the best template, but personally, its well rounded.

120 cap would be great news forme in PvP


with master pistol, the bh pistol tree and +25 accuracy in skill mods - I have 170 accuracy. Its the only available counter I could come up with vs defense stackers, and if defenses are hardcapped at 120 - the BH dabble would finally have 'obvious' benefits. But it is hard to keep, facing the choice of the Dirty Fighting line.... But I will wait until patch notes til I make any radical change.

One *will* be able to stack defenses, but they'll be capped at some point. So so, these templates won't be crap, since they not only grant additional defense, but they also enhance pistol skills with other abilities, combat specials and skill mods.

I currently have master pistoleer, smuggler DF, novice commando, novice medic, and TKA 0004. Depending on what the defense cap will be, I might go with one of the above templates.

I am BH pistols 4 and master pistoleer, with a group im superb. I got the doc to cure me disease/poisons, i got a CM to hand out the poisons/diseases then i just spam eye shot all day. And its gud, But when there is no doctor i get owned. CM/riflemen , THey poison then spam master head shot ( or so i think its called ) .


How am i supposed to beat these muppets ?

I am working on a very interesting idea watching some of my cohorts PvP.


Master Pistoleer (Duh)


Smuggler Pistol 3 (no need for last ditch...you will see why)


Master Brawler


Master Swordsman (or TKA I suppose but I want to use a Scythe!)


Now while that looks all wonky here is why I think it may work (other than it is unexpected). Pistoleer gives me some good defenses and Pistol Speed and Accuracy (what I am truly interested in) and smuggler gives me a ranged KD and a delaying shot. So you drop them and then delay them as you run towards them (as you get closer if these dont stick you can move to Lunge2 and Warcry) regardless the trick here is that once they go down the PowerHammer (and Scythe) will plow through their mind and some of the Swordsman attacks do ridiculous wounds to the mind secondaries forcing players quickly out of PvP and to the cantina.


And you can always back off and do body damage and wait for them to heal and then hit them again with the combo etc etc...and with the amount of different types of damage available to pistoleers it will allow me switch up and do that damage to them.


TKA may be better overall (more skill points by 14 or so) but the damage and wounds for a swordsman (plus the Scythe looks cool) is just ungodly.

those muppets will be having their jawa's turned to electricity very soon. that alone, along with capped defenses, will send them back to reality. Unfortunately for you, and the reason I dropped your template for the time being, is warcry and intimidate are the most imprtant offenses you need to surive against a CM/Rifle.
