It does mean something. It is a comparison of much damage a gun will do with no bonuses or penalties compared to another gun under the same conditions. It at least tells me what gun I'd rather have. I'm not all that concerned about how much actual damage I do per second rather just which gun does more damage over time.

Sliced, no power ups

Really you should carry at least 3 pistols. I carry a Scout Blaster, FWG5 and DX2. It all depends what your fighting. If you go to Lok and fight things with 100% heat resist, for example, you might as well be blowing bubbles at em for all the actual damage you'll be doing with your FWG5 with the killer ratio. In that case you'd be better off with a Scout Blaster, which should be replaced by the DX2 if the mob has both high heat and energy resists. Make an examine hotkey, and use the best pistol for the job and the exp will roll in. Or do like I did and blast away with your FWG5 then freak out each time you get no exp message before you figure it all out lol.

My server can't make any of the good guns. The best we have are Scout Blasters.

min/max damage: 60-122

HAM: 11/23/11

Best DX2 I've seen:

min/max damage: 67-115

atk spd: 3.8

HAM: 43/64/35

Both are unsliced.

I use my dx2 almost exclusively - 83-144/2.5 unsliced. Fairly unremarkable stats but in real-world situations it's far more lethal than the "uber" scout blastersor FWGs I've had (although I still keep an FWG on me for the rare acid-resistant mobs). I'm beyond the kreetle-killing stage, so energy-based or non-AP guns aren't real useful to me.

scatter pistol 2.2speed 128-239d damage sliced, 311 max with powerup (hits for 2500 stopping shot)

fwg5 2.0speed 66-260d damage sliced, 360 max with power up

dx2's arent very good on bloodfin yet

i dont even use a scout cause they suck, everythiong is energy resistent higher up it seems

and anything with speed 2.5 and under = 1.0 with pistol speed mods

U guys have some guns with some very nice stats. Im on the Kettemoore server. Can u guys tell me what weaponsmiths your going to to get these high quality guns. I can't find many good weaponsmiths on corellia. I would really appreciate some names or waypoints.

I have a few pistols but mainly use:

(somewhere around) 58-196 2.2 FW unsliced

78-120 1.6 Scout unsliced

(somewhere around) 80-140 2.5 SR Combat (I have noticed no difference with AR1 on no armor mobs)

80-130 1.5 DH17 unsliced
