DXR6 mod (discintigration (sp)) is medium AP (ap2) and can get to mid 400s in max damage pretty easy.
My laser carbine is 404 max damage 3.3 sp. That is without powerups (it is stocked though so it burns a little more ham, but with brandy I never find ham a problem)
Sorry I just mastered carbineer on the side. I'll be back to pistol soon. I'm even partialy through rifle and I still plan on going back to pistol. I just like it more than any of there other professions.
Whoever was saying that Rifle does mind shot, Carbine does status mod, Pistol should do best DPS... what is up with that? Rifle does mind damage, Carbine does action damage, Pistol does health damage. Makes sence to me.
Now this is what I think you were trying to get at. Rifle has concealshot and other "sniping" tricks, Carbines drop status mods, and Pistols have ???

SHOULD be that we do more dps, (rifles at 3.0 seconds, carbines at 2.0 seconds) and have more TYPES of damage (or rifles should do 2.0 seconds, carbines should do 1.0 and pistoleers should do .5 seconds with dual wield

PIstoleers should do the most DPS? Everyone should have a different speed cap? No. Inthe highest dps should be and should always be a machine gun, aka carbineer. I personally use pistols, and I would like to see more than the short end of the stick, if pistoleer should have any advantage over the other marksman it should not be holsters, dual wield, twirly moves or insane speed or damage. No pistol can outdamage a machine gun, FACT just like no rifle can match a pistol or machine gun for rate of fire FACT. I can't think of a realistic advantage for pistoleer off the top of my headthat can be implemented inthis game, but I do know that if the combat balance does not base weapons off of real life weapons, the combat balance will fail.
