You have gave me hope, but then again I and many other people think when and if any of these will come to live and not some far off date like........i dunno, the date called were working on it.
Fan shot staying ranged would be great, too.
Great post, man! I agree with you all the way. You make very valid and usable arguments for change. I have a question though.....Is there some way you, as a coorspondant, can get a DEV to even glance at this? People have made their issues known for awhile now, and it appears as if nothing has been done to fix this profession. In defense of Carbineers, I've seen what happens when they use their specials, OUCH...I have to contantly heal them or they incap themselves. They needed love a long time ago. So far, from what I've seen though, is that Pistoleers were seen as being more functional than some other professions. At least we could survive, kinda mentality. But I agree, it's our turn to get fixed. Fix us and see what happens.........we may actually be able to stand toe-to-toe with some other combat classes, hahaha.
Maybe Double-tap could do 60% health/40% mind damage, or 70/30 for balance instead of random HAM damage.
Disarming shot could give a small delay to a single target to simulate being disarmed of your weapon, and disarming shot 2 could have a higher delay in a cone attack.
PMD2 needs to be a better KD than PM1 as well, maybe make it a KD/dizzy or a KD/delay.

Now that they have seen this post, I hope they decide to implement some of these changes in Pub 8.
