Yea in effect, I am not sure how it is going to work out though. AHHHHHHHH I WISH I HAD MY LAPTOP SO I COULD START ASKING AROUND. O well, this gives me time to check proffs on paper.

I definetely don't think this PA should go over-the-top to mimic the Tetragrammaton of the movie. We are still playing Star Wars, after all, and we should design this guild/Order in that context.
Perhaps a name like the Clerics of Tetgram, or something like that would be more subtle, and we could have Cleric as the PA sign above our heads. There's no profession-given Cleric title, so it'd be cool to have this. We could be like semi-religious, mystical, spiritual deserters from the Teras Kasi order who have honed our skills with blasters tobetter round out our combat proficiencies. Tetgram could be the fellow who originally left the Teras Kasi five generations ago (just throwing ideas out here).
Waddya think?

Not bad, I think thats cool. Personally I am more of a template guy, but yea that sounds cool. I hope you know how to set up a pa though cause I sure as heck dont. Also we wont be totally segregated, I think a ranger would be nice to have as well as docs and dancers. Plus as long as they have pisols, which would include most bh, which is nice so we can hunt jedi.
Just as long as the overall mood of the PA is consistent.

I have been working on a number of templates for making my main into a cleric. Sadly, I just don't know that I can justify changing my current template right now, because it might negate the templates post CURB. For example.
BH0040
Fencer 0430
M. Pistoleer
Combat Prowess 3000
This more than maxes dodge, gives you amazing state defenses, and an extra 9 to ranged accuracy if that ever gets fixed. The melee/ranged def would be nice, but for pvp, it just wouldn't add up to enough to make a difference, or even in high end pve. Anything you face in those arenas will have enough accuracy to hit you.
The other idea is
BH0040
M. Pistoleer
Force Defender 0004
This too would be nice, though you would have less dodge, and sadly Jedi State def does not apply to KD or Posture down, so Thak would still be necessary. But, like I said, with the Devs promising stacking will be gone post curb, it just isn't really worth working up to these templates I feel. Too bad, cause the pistoleer one especially I think would be impressive.

Personally, I have given up on Medic. It is a great skill and one I wish I could incorporate, but it just isn't really as useful for my purposes. I dabble slightly outside of pistols, being BH 3040, M. Pistols, and Commando 0040. This allows me to really hammer the health pool, and warcry allows me to delay while switching FT to pistols.
That said, I am considering switching to Smuggler 0040 for the ranged KD. But with Thak being so prominent, and last ditch being a random pool shot, I am not sure it is worth giving up being able to devestate health.
Another option though, since Preston did show proficiency with assault rifles/shotguns, is BH 0440, Carbineer 1400, M. Pistoleer. This gives me great state effects and the accuracy to use them, great pistol skills, and I would have enough SP left to either take Medic 2100(for curing bleed), or I could go Carbineer 3400(extra speed) and novice medic, or perhaps medic 2000, carbineer 1400, and put the last 2 SP into FS ranged accuracy or speed, in the hopes those are one day fixed.
As I said, I like having medic, but if you plan to keep enough invest to hunt Jedi, I just don't find it useful enough. That takes precious time that I could be shooting, since most Jedi will have high block anyway. Good buffs and good food, and I should be able to live without medic. Always keep a vercupti and enough stomach to pop it.

How about this template if medic is not that useful.
BH-3440
Master pistoleer
Carbs-4400
This will max out both pistols and carbs, give you great accuracy with both, all the best pistol shots (except smuggler) and crippling shot and scatter shot2 for carbs, which are my favorite carb shots. Hmm that gots me thinking now.
About the PA, are you imp or reb? Or will you allow either faction in? Do you plan on having some sort of uniform? I like hunting jedi cause there is no point in wearing armor since it dont help, it makes the uniform thing look cooler.

Yea I was lookin at Fencer. I like it because I get to keep the BH pistol line, which I love, but at the same time, I think that the TKM one might be more fun to play. Plus that one has medic.

Well, I just finished watching Equilibrium, and you guys were right, that movie should be the theme movie for all pistoleers. It was sort of a cross between the movies "1984" and "Logan's Run." With respect to the latter, it had Logan 5 (Preston) trying to covertly defeat the system while attempting to locate Sanctuary (the resistance) and destroy the artificial society. The Sandman Logan (sandpeople!) and Grammaton Cleric Preston each had pretty bad-ass pistols, though Preston sure knew how to use his better. Logan's accuracy appeared to be only around +50, compared with Preston's 300+ (Preston had some serious skill tapes in his brain). As for pistol speed, well, let's just say that Preston's was capped with no need for Bounty Hunter. I hope we get pistol mode settings like that when the CURB arrives. Preston also sure had one hell of a Pistol Melee Defense... I want to get me a pistol like his with those spiky things that pop out of the pistol butt.
Highly recommended viewing for pistoleers...
