I am currently going MBH, MP, and medic 1000. I dont know how well it will work, but I am going to use a template site to see if I can get BH pistols, with tka and of course pistoleer.

Ok playing around I got this template, I have no clue how it would work but I will explain reasoning after.
Pistoleer 4044
BH 0040
TKA 0344 or 0434 one gives youd amage the other gives you knockdown 2 and some extra toughness.
Here is my reasonign the pistoleer, I get my fav. title gunslinger, I get fanshot, and I get the ranged mit, and pistole speed fromthe combat damge set.
BH lots of speed and of course eye and torso shot, with the bh speed you wont need speed mods, you will do just fine
TKA while meditation will suck, and people may miss it, you will have knockdowm 1, all the dmagage mods, save masater, and you have the melee defense that a lot of pistoleer builds lack.
With the 0434 you ahve knockdown 2 and a bit of toughness in exchange for a bit more damage.
looking at the report you will have ranged and melee mit, at 2 you will have some nice defense against all the states your pistol speed is at 109, and unarmed is at 95 and unarmed damage at 175 with the 0344 template. I dont know, but in essece that looks like what the grammaton clerics where, a mix of pistol and tka. Plus you could experiment with all of this, I think I amyb do that in game, before I move to far into BH. give it a try, since my pistol xp is almost capped and I can get it back fast enough it I dont like it.
I also like the above one since I heard dirty fighting kicks butt.
THe thing I will miss with mine is no invest, so I cant hunt jedi, that I will miss alot, but o well, I have BH friends.

TKA is not gonna help u much if u dont master and like wise for pistoleer. You really do need a good DE-10 if u want to be successfull. Im MBH/Master Pistoleer and been one since a couple months after launch and I love it. I do like the idea of a Grammaton Cleric PA, anyone on bloodfin that would like this? Strictly Pistol professions of any sort, MBH/MP, MP/rogue/desperato/novice commando, people like that, sounds fun. OGC rules, lol.

A strictly-pistoleer PA (or whatever you have in mind) does indeed sound really cool. I've never seen a hunting party of all-pistoleers before--that would be a sight to see! It would be like that scene in Episode II where all the Jedi were surrounded by mobs in the execution arena, except with pistols instead of lightsabers.
Something to consider though--many (most?) people in this game end up changing professions at some point, and I imagine there will be massive profession changing once the CURB comes out (I bet there will be a lot more pistoleers too!). If a guild member changes professions and drops pistoleer, do they become ineligible to be in the guild anymore? I don't have a toon on your server (and wouldn't have time to play a new one) so wouldn't be available to join, but I was just curious.
You guys have definitely convinced me to watch this movie! It happens to be on tomorrow on cable on Showtime-East where I live (East Coast USA). it only got a 2-star rating (out of 5), but I'll watch anyway because you've piqued my curiosity.

Honestly as for booting players out if they drop, I dont know that will be a tba accurance. But as it stands, from my personal experiance, and from you guys, I dont think anyone is going to drop pistoleer after they get it. I know I never will.
I reviewed the one template I put up there, and didnt like it. Tempted to go on test center to see how it works if they got those character builder things in tehre again, but once again I cant cause my laptop is in the shop. Here is the new template I came up with
Master Pistoleer and Master TKA so TKM
This leaves about 66 points left.
Add in smuggler, if I aint gonna get my good BH pistol skills, and the mods SPEED HOW I WILL MISS THOUGH, I am at least gonna get pistol knockdown and some decent pistol skills with that.
This leaves 46 some skills. I could add in commando, but I dont think novice is worth it just for the launcher pistol, seeing as how I have enough weapons to worry about. So what is the next logical choice, more smuggler. NAh I am not much of a smuggler man so MEDIC. You can go 4400 0440 4040 or what I will probably do 4230, you want a bit more treat ment quality hence the 4 the most bang for a buck, 2 up your speed a bit, and 3 so that you can use higher quality ones, although I dont know if that will knock you up to c's.
so all in all MP TKM DF smuggler and of course medi 4230.

I know I'll never drop pistoleer!
Commenting on your medic plans... In my opinion you will get the most bang for a buck by going xx4x. That way you can use Stimpack E's (if you can find them with 40 medicine use skill), or Stim D's. There's nothing like being able to heal you health and action to 100% in a single click even if you are badly damaged! Personally, I am Medic 3040. That gives me the additional ability to stop bleeding (2040 would be almost as good--I'm going to be dropping down to this soon, as I continue tomigrateskill points into FS healing and other FS). If I had the skill points available, I would probably go Medic 4040.

I was looking at speed mods and using the damage calculator, and the damage difference between speed capped bh mp and my new one I want to do (SEE above) is quite a bit. I dont know, will I even notice the difference in speeds anyone that is strickly MP.

Bottom line is..as of now, pistoleer without the BH pistol line sux for PvP. Also, if u have TKM, why would u use pistols anyway? The good thing is that CU is coming and hopefully range will be how it should be. there is no reason why a person with a VK, pike, or sword should be able to take out a range prof, lol. when I think of that I picture Indian Jones missing that swordsman 10 times only to get KD+dizzied and killed.

I think a well organized PA with good tactics and all pistol templates would rock. There is a PA on Valcyn (GUN) that uses all pistoleers, but I am not sure if they are still around. Anyone here that is on Valcy want to start a OGC PA send me an email. Has anyone thought of RPing this guild or type of person? I think that would be a unique idea with some potential.
