Thread: tangle pistols beat geo pistols in almost every aspect

That gun is most likely multisliced; getting those stats legitimately would require rare loot drops and a lucky slice.
As I said it was unsliced and I know it was unsliced because those were the stats shown on the item when I did the experimentation and when I pulled them out of my own factory.
The tangle is nowhere near the stats of a crafted Geonosian Sonic but 110 damage is far off decent.
I don't know how innaccurate they were though. To be honest I never checked.
Our guild Master Weaponsmith (Honvik) recently gave me a Tangle that was 2.6 speed and around 250 max damage (At work now so I can't look). Anyway, I had it sliced and got a 21% speed slice
down to 2.0 speed.
My question is this, Since this is an AP1 gun, It can't be compared to a Geo purely on Speed and damage. What is the advantage percentage of Armor Piercing 1?
Akme, if you are interested, we could get together and do some comparison tests.

Doh! I just got ingame, and the Tangle is 251 WITH a powerup

That guy is me, and I was referring to the tangle. I know the tangle with the stats I posted isn't multisliced because I made them.
Nope. I made two batches with normal pistol barells and advanced ones. They last batch were a bit Hammy but not unreasonably so.
Power handler was 43 damage, and then quality materials for the rest.

you sir are wrong. I have a Geon. sonic Blaster that is 1.8 Speed, 282ish-440 Stun Damage (with powerup) How is this better than tangle? With Fan shot, people are running in the opposite direction
Mine's only 109 max damage. People still run the opposite direction. It has something to do with the mind fire.
Lucky **edit** takes a break and comes back to mind fire. Your going to have to show me that later.

dont forget the Tangle has a shorter max range as well around 40 m if I remember correctly ... if a target is beyond that you get target is out of range message. that extra 24m in range is darn usefull!
No Idea how the orginal owner came up with thisthread .... obviously he/she is very wrong lol
Max range on the sonic blaster is 48m. At least mine is.

That is not going to produce anything even remotely close to 190 1.7 unless you did it on patch day and the changed experimentation had some incredibly bizarre effect only ontangle pistols.
Alsoit uses proj feed mech, not power handlers.

There is no AP1 on either the tangle nor the geo pistol.

Correct, no power handlers. The plot thickens.
