My 5th would be a new state effect.. I would like to see something that slows the targets run speed.. I'm so sick of Melee's burst running to get 20m (60 FEET!!!!!!!) from me and using that stupid ass stretch armstrong lunge.
Give us a leg shot that prevents burst running and slows the targets run speed by 50%..
This would not only help a lot in PVP, but would allow us to help group mates run away to safty

not to be nitpicky, but we technically have 2 status effects in the Pistoleer tree.
bleeding is considered a status...
not that i don't agree 90000% that its not enough.

This is more or a general game thing than it is just Pistoleers... it OUGHT to be on the Rifleman's list, but hey, who asks for their profession to be nerfed? They can leave Rifleman at 1.0, put Carbineers at .75, and Pistoleers at .5 so it'll be in order, but it won't help anything. It'll still be whoever gets the first shot off. What needs to happen is they need to add a three second cap to Rifleman, two second cap to Carbineer, and leave Pistoleer with the one second cap. This is what HAS to happen. Why doesn't it happen? 'Cause the world has one too many Rifleman who simply refuse to accept the fact that they're snipers, not assault rifles, and they should be treated as such. My favorite Rifleman quote: "Riflemen get tons of speed mods because their rifles are slow." Last I checked, they got double our damage because their rifles are slow. Sound like double compensation? I think so
On an unrelated note, I have a feeling a lower Pistoleer range cap is coming in the future. It's going to be a sad day, the day that our maximum range is about as far as a Master Brawler can seemingly "throw" his fist... bah... distance and speed... both screwed up beyond repair.

Pistoleer defenses by themselves are not that bad for a single mastery.
DPS is too low
Broken Specials
No state attacks forcing smuggler into the template
Speed
