Pistoleer Archive
Thread: Grinding XP: This method 114k Pistol xp/hour, 12k combat xp/hour Anyone have better?
Well as of right now Im 4 boxs from master smuggler 2 in the underworld 1 in slicing and dirty fighting.
I am also a pistoleer with 2 boxs in special abilities and 1 in markmanship. I also have TKA novice, Engineer. Explorer, Survival 4, Business 3, and novice medic. This will change of course as I level up the pistoleer tree I will need todrop some of the support features Im using like medic and some of my scout abilities. So yes I have some skills But im not hi in the combat classes yet.
As for my weapons I have 3
1. Scout blaster 47-121 speed 1.3
2. FWG5 36-147 speed 1.8
3. DX2 76-126 speed 2.0
I switch them off depending on the mob although I use the Scout blaster the most becuase the speed is so fast even if the mob has 10% resistance to energy it still does the most damage.
I was doing Baz Nitch missions yesterday, run and gun method works great, not to mention the huge credit payoff. Now, they changed the camps, it is now very difficult to kill these lairs. The Baz Nitches are now agressive (werent yesterday) and now they heal the lair ( didnt yesterday). Just FYI to anyone not sure about spending the cash to get out there. Run and gun did not seem to work for me simply becuase they heal the lair up really fast and now help each other out during fights.
Hope it helps.
All hail the mighty nerf bat. SoE has struck the planet Dathomir with a fantastic blow.
Baz Nitch are now Aggressive. They not only swarm to attack you the moment they see you or are fired on. They have also been granted the power of nearly-instant healing of their Lair. That's right. If you do somehow manage to survive the four or five (sometimes less, sometimes more) Nitches that charge you (warningshot - TAB - warning shot - TAB - warning shot) and have the opportunity to fire on the Lair...literally right away a Nitch will spawn and *poof* heal the Lair to 100%. Then, another Nitch will spawn and the pair will assault you for your transgression.
Time to find a new XP hole.
The creature bleeds for the highest health shot it has taken. For example, if you health shot for 500 then health shot for 150, it will still bleed for 500.

Btw I find that Healshotting over and over is tedious and not needed. What you want to do when you use healthshot is to keep it up until you get a really strong hit for both. Your bleed dmg is still going to be at the same rate and its going to bleed the beast by the amount of your shot. If you keep spamming the key then chances are the beast is going to be bleeding some rounds less than others when it could have been bleeding fine the entire fight. Comprende?
