Thread: Grinding XP: This method 114k Pistol xp/hour, 12k combat xp/hour Anyone have better?
Bah! 20 refreshs later not one Giant Baz Nitch mission! I am pulling up lvl 65 difficulty I hope that isn't the problem.. Any ideas?
Thanks,
just started the biz natch (baz nitch) missions yesterday.
Go to the terminal and hit refresh til you see a mission for 10k completion. that's a biz natch. it might take 20 or thirty. I didn't count. But you don't have to click on each one to check.
i find that while they're great for xp, it takes me a litttle too long to kill and reheal and that 2 more have spawned making mission completion difficult. I bought a faster pistol and I'm trying it again today....other advice is go prepared with tons of medical...
Awesome, purely awesome!!!. Not 114k per hour, more like 50k or so (for me atleast) Very nice, I will have stopping shot by the end of tomorow.

Same here bud.. thats what I was saying on page 1. Now my skills at the time were not that great (I finally got stopping shot!!) but I still do not see how that individual is making 114k per hour. As of now I think the max I have made is like 60k an hour which is still awesome in my book since I don't have to rely on a group. Btw I have a crapload of stimpak B's now that were made by a master docter.. purely awesome (don't even see a reason to go pharm IV now since these are jsut as good and I can use them at novice with no other pts used). I'd recommend everyone going at least novice medic and buying some stimpak B's that are made by a fantastic doctor or high lvl med person. Also someone told me to get FA II so you can stop bleeding but since baz don't bleed you, its not really recommended for this hunt, just for later on in your career (i.e. pvp).
I'm not trying to flame anyone here, but try exploring instead of coming to the forums to look for easy places to hunt. 114k an hour is easily attainable, but that requires experience and knowledge of the game that only comes when you play around on your own. Posting, "uber-exp here!"-type posts are harmful to the game, because first of all, exp-lust is pretty strong in most players...if you give them no reason to explore, then generally will not do so. I do not think the developers made so many planets and creaturesforone to be exploited. Secondly, it reduces the benefitfor those who DO explore. Lookat what happened to the Tuskan Camp on Tatooine, to Jaxes on Endor, to spiders on Naboo...don't be surprised if a week later we have to add baz nitches to the list. Now I'm not saying thisout of self-benefit...exploration with friends is nochore for me, so by thetime any nerfs do come in,we'll have long moved on,however, the others who have just discovered the place will essentiallybe screwed out of their work. Sure tell your friends, tell your family, tell your acquaintances in the game, but forum announcements really are not necessary, as itappears to be nothing more than an ego booster.
There are a lot of things that can be done in SWG,unlikemost other MMORPGs. Spending all one's timechasing the forums for easy areas to camp will lead to nothing more but a burnt out player, an uber-character, and a cancelled account.Along with the final mentality of, "This game sucks.Everyone camps in one place, and the game's too short". Why?Because in terms of hunting and skill development, it's not a long game at all. One month into the game, andmany are already mastered the elite professions.Someonein this thread posted a question about which Outpost to go to. I don't mean to offend, but that really is pathetic, seeing as THERE ARE ONLY*TWO*OUTPOSTSON THE PLANET. Will it kill to visit a planetwithout full information and a mission briefing?
While I admit it's no place of mine to tell others how to play or how to post, from one player to others, I do advise and/or request, that these types of "UBER-EXP HERE" posts not be posted. Sure some players may like not having to work for anything at all, overall it ends up being detrimental to the game's well-being. IMO forums are for advice and insight from more experienced players to aidthe readers to make their own decisions (ie skill trainings, etc.) I personally would rather not know about a given area, than go there to milk it because someone else announced it to the gaming community through forums.
If you dont like Baz Nitches on Dath try Mountain Squills or Dewbacks on tatooine. there are alot more then just Baz Nitches that can give great exp. I agree with the guy who said try exploring, every planet have its "Baz Nitches' and mixxingit up will make the game alot more enjoyable.
I to doubt they will get nerfed I tried to solo biz natches and got worked. Im not very high in my pistoleer and im sure thats why, but thought maybe with a little strategy i had enough skill, well lessoned learned. However once i gouped with a creature handler and one other person things went great and the group i was in was cool.
There is definatly a strategy for groups as well, went to fort tusken last night there was probably 30 people there at one time so we could go all over the fort(except for the warlord that always killed me) but i got much better XP with a small group that had a melee person, healer, 2 pistoleers and a CH. It was easier to cordinate with such a small group.

And just to stay on topic, there is no denying these types of posts cause damage. The population of the trade outpost has gone up ten-fold, and overhalf of them have no business being on the planet having not developed their skills on the easier planets first. Now when I try to go hunting, I see idiots jumping in on my kills when I'm obviously handling them fine, other clowns who don't know how to avoid aggressives attract the reds, then they try to get them to attack other players in the area, and everytime I'm in town now, no less than 5 people will ask me to take them hunting. No, I don't mean they're inviting me to group. I mean they want me to shield them so they can gain exp, and this was explicitly stated on numerous occasions. "We need you so we can gain xp". Yeah, nice sales pitch.
So basically what move are u guys using to finish these off solo?
Thx in advance.
