Thread: Dual weilding Pistols?
Guys and gals
First off the new system is not going to have certs for guns...it is going to be like the BE/CH relationship. All the guns (plus maybe a few new ones) will be available for everyone...let me show you an example (this is just what I understand from what the Devs have written).
No Marksman - Level 1 Guns
Novice Marksman - Level 10 Guns
Pistol 1 - Level 15 Pistols
Pistol 2 - Level 20 Pistols
etc etc up through the elite profession.
There is no reason that the master level pistols cannot simply be dual pistols. You want a Master FWG5...great...a Master Scout...great...I am sure each gun type will have advantages with regards to range or some character point. Scouts will be faster but less damage than DX2 and Republic Blasters will have good range and FWG5's will still dispense the heat damage etc etc...but a Master Scout will still be more compareable to a todays good DX2's and Master DX2's will be closer to older prenerf Krayt DX2's. The extra damage could be explained by the fact they have a second pistol.
The real question is in this new more open environment does the Pistoleer get the Scatter Pistol and Launcher and do BH get the Acid Rifle and FT?
Dual wielding is coming...just not with the Revamp.
