Thread: Pistoleer or Commando
Well, i've gone Master Commando Pistoleer0 0 4 4 Smuggler 0 0 3 0 Medic 0 0 4 0
Gives me ranged knockdowns, pistoleer defences, and high damage from any range with the right commando weapon. Accuracy problems can be overcome with Aim, and I am constantly pvp. When i'm not using my flamethrower.... Panicshot+LowBlow+StoppingShot+Krayt Launcher Pistol(now extinct)=Crazy Stuff.
However this is a PvP template and i'm more inclined to rely on pistol skills for KDs only. Master Pistoleer is great, but provides no ranged defences. But who knows, i've been considering master pistol more and more each day.

Commando is a dumb skill. It is over powered and it is hella easy to get xp for it. You can master commando in no time. If you want a profession where you need skill go pistoleer. If you want one that takes no skill and you just press one button and you take everyones xp and piss every one off.. go commando. Plus if you are in PvP and you miss your flame... you are screwed.
Ok... first off, I don't appreciate people insulting commando saying it takes no skill.... sure once you get flame 4 XP is pretty easy, but the same can be said about pistoleer Tech 4. once you get your most powerful attack, of course XP is going to be a little easy.
Master Commando in no time? Maybe, it's getting to commando that takes the longest time at least for casual gamers.
One button to piss people off and take all their xp... try using a republic blaster damage sliced with a damage powerup firing fan shot... I can do it from range as master pistoleer, I never get hit, and with a tat sunburn I can just spam it all day and steal EVERYONE's XP. Commando I'd have to get close... and you're not necessarily screwed if you miss a flame in PvP, you just need to use a bit of tactics...
Sorry if I sound like I'm ranting I just like to try and dispell rumors before they get started, commando is not a one trick pony... we've got lots of tricks, but so many dabblers just go FT that you never see the rest ![]()
