Philo looks like he's able to fill jaegan's shoes. Good work.

No offence, but the report had an edge of "rant" to it.
Understandably so, everyone here shares the same frustration, but it doesn't get things done any faster and I think it looks better if things stay concise and we present them with hard numbers.
Also, it really doesn't matter when we reported these issues, unfortunately. But like TH has said, that was then and this is now which I kind of have to agree with. So while we may be on month 3 or 4 of these issues, they are on day 1 - and while it is frustrating, we have to deal with it as such.
But anyways, the report did hit all of our issues, no complaints there. Good job, I know that was very long and a lot of work for you plus the added frustration that you are unable to test certain things for yourself yet.
Non of our past reports had any scent of rant to it, if this one does then good, it shows our frustration.
This State of the Profession Report is just as concise as all of our other, unread, unworked on report done by our previous correspondent. Both Jaegen and Phil are posting details with fact's to back them up. They both posted with a level head and calmly. If we send in one post with a bit of rant then they can see we are finally getting annoyed with their lack of progress and their inability to solve issue's.
It does matter WHEN the issues where first reported. It is uncalled for to have an issue not looked at or fixed after 4 months! When would you consider it to be ok for us to post WHEN the issue was first reported? A year down the road? These issue's have gone on for TO long. And they are not on one day. We are on 4 or 5 months, they are on 3 years of development of this piss poor excuse of a game, not day one.
**edit** right skippy that was alot of work, work which I believe the Dev's should credit him back in some form, like a free month of game play at the very least. Great job with the report Phil, I do believe you have the entire pistol community behind you!
Umm, so you don't think it wrong, that line is meants as unread, unworked on by the developer's. Jaegen and Phil have poored their time and taken away from their fun factor for those numbers on the reports, so don't take that line the wrong way.

Thunderheart *is* basically on day 1. Since he is our new voice to the Devs, he is just getting these issues now. And even we have said in this thread that our last reports were ignored, so if true- then even if we have reported these things before, then this is still the first time they are seeing them.
It's sad, but true. I just know from experiance that Dev's dont like the word "BROKEN" unless something is actually "BROKEN". When you call something broken, they think you click the button and NOTHING happens. Sure, it's just another buzzword to use "non-functional" or "not effective" but still- it helps. I know it's part of Thunderheart's job to sort through all the BS, but there's no need to make it harder on him. If we are general, then we will just confuse him or he will miss the importance of what we're talking about. Look at the DE's, they say "We want droids to work" and he has to ask like 20 more different questions of "How do you want droids to work" because they are too general.
Im not trying to underscore Samra's post in any way, he gets all of the info in, and even the wishlist part. He's an accurate voice for the pistoleer community since he also shows our frustration. But I thought for future measures(and real soon too) we can cut out a lot of the "fat" of the post and stick with the hard stuff. (Which I know will be easier when Samra can test on TC as well).
TH has said he should be comming by the Prof boards next week and asking them questions on the 'finer points', so I think we need to be as ready as possible with our #'s and solutions(which is pretty easy since we've basically got all them sticky anyways- but he doesn't read those).
My Congrats!!
Excellent Post
Hmm could you do a write up about the Player HQ bugs?? Just kidding!!
Excellent Thread Phil, I hope we hear something back soon. Good Work!
Very nice report....I agree with everything you said. I am a Master Pistoleer, and the fact that it is a worthless class at the moment (compared to others) almost made me cancel my subscription...I mean, everyone is tired of smuggler and BH's ONE line being better than our entire tree.
I hope they fix Pistoleer. ![]()
