KD+ Dizzy
{Switch Targets} Warning Shot
(Switch Targets)Whichever HAM is lowest - Torso Shot / Eye Shot / Leg Shot 2 OR LLC 2
{Switch Targets) KillPet
This has worked for me too many times to count

Yeah, but how well has this worked since the last patch? Def. vs Knockdown (and dodge) actually does something now. Pistoleers get +30 knockdown(+100 dodge), Pistoleer/TKA get +50 knockdown(+100 dodge), Pistoleers/Fencers get +70 knockdown(+205 Dodge).
I'm not sure how many pistoleers are adding some melee to their characters, but TKA isbecoming a more common second profession for ariflemen. (since mostwith CH know changes are in the future)

sorry I agree with the bounty hunter. If he has buffs and composite too your going down no matter what pets you have.
I gurantee it will come down to eyeshot being the quickest way to kill under those circumstances, even with an 80% helmet.
"However, if PvE is your main interest go for rifleman/CH. My friend Barb, with one grand wrix and one grand wrix baby solos rancors. Haven't seen it personally but I have seen her rip a spawn of piket on dant a new a-s-s. Truly awesome"
Hrmm.. I might be reading this wrong. But what rancors are you talking about? And in what numbers. I as a nonmaster bh. Cankill an enraged rancor with a cowardly gurreck as a tank. Get a lot of dots on it before gurreck dies and kite him. You must be talking of other rancors though right?

Nah, I'm not letting you get that close. And as I said above warning shot isn't a special I place a lot of faith in.
Full armor and buff you're not going to one shot incap me. I'm going to force you to deal with my pets while I keep my distance spaming bleeding shots and fanshot. "
FYI, the BH KD and Dizzy are Carbine attacks, so "I'm not letting you that close" is my line
.
When I PvP, I have full armor and buffs as well
.
I suggest having a few trial runs before you get out there. Just because the skill box says something doesn't mean it is automatic.
Also, another tactic people will use against you is to have a non-CH pet out to aggro your pet. Yes, a rancor or a gurreck etc. will make short work of a CG or a rock beetle, but in the meantime the conflict becomes one on one.
That doesn't mean MCH + "Insert Combat Skill Here" is NOT a formidable combination. It just isn't automatic.
Actually, since the patch I have more of a problemwith rifleman. With their accuracy bonuses they are hitting on the move and within almost melee range more ofthen then I am and of course doing more damage.
LOL
I am all BH pistol, and pistolier 0231, and CH 1400...and I can solo all kinds of stuff, never tried rancors, but I can take out lvl 65 missions without breaking a sweat..
send in GSP, go in and take out surface marshalls with pistol whip and 5 shot the before the get up with torso shot...hate to tell you but I am awsome in PvsE and pretty good in PvsP... I can solo kimos on Lok, just ask my guild....you think the "BEST" PvsE temp is pistolier/CH, I say, alot of temps are just as good, if not better, oh yea I have novice medic also, and can heal for 200-560 dmg with my stim Bs. so don't come here and try to state facts, when its all opinion in the end.

Not a flame here (no pun intended) but anyone can kill something with a flame dot ![]()
Also, after the December patch you wont be able to use that cowardly gurreck to tank anymore ![]()

When I said I'm not letting you get that close I ment I like to stay 60-70m away while I send my pets in (if possible).
Also, I have my pet commands on a macro so even if you send a low level critter my way I keep hitting the attack command on you so it ignores your rock beetle or CG.
I do conceed that a master CH/pistoleer is not automatic however. A lot depends on how well you can control your pets ( how well you can macro
) and a lot depends on the other guys ability to play his profession.

I'm sure you are aware they are changing the CH tree. I dont know how much you are invested in it but you might not be able to tank with that GSP after December's patch. Also, they are nerfing...errrrr **fixing** pets under level 30 to be weaker....errrrr **more balanced**.
Not sure how that is going to effect you... I also have medic and can do the same heals. As a mon cal my specials really eat into my action ham ![]()
In conclusion I do admit that my templet is not the **best**. It's the way I came across but was not my intent.
I find that a master CH/pistoleer offers many advantages in both PvP and PvE that, when played right, offers, IMHO, a advantage overall.
That's not the reason I play it however. I started out mastering Artisan, then architecture, then Bio-engineering. I'm just sick of being a slave to resource shifts. Feels good to just kills stuff --hehehe

I agree with Tanks ... although I usually dispatch the pet first. Back when I had the BH pistol line I'd apply all three bleeds to the pet (Torso, HS2, HS1) and then use WarningShot to send it running away while I killed the owner. ![]()

You're saying you shoot off 3 shots at my pets health, a warning shot (4th) and still standing to go after the pistoleer?
Maybe ![]()
I find healthshot one and two spaming fanshot or stoppingshot with a 300-400+ krayt FWG5 usually does the trick.
The best strategy is to have full-armor/buff and ignore the pets and kill the owner.
Paying attention to my pet is what I want you to do as it allows me to get a few more shots in hehe
Course I dont PvP anymore nor have I in a long time. I played a friend character on bloodfin and did some PvPing back in the day.. they might have changed a few things though.
Now that I'm almost master CH and pistoleer on my character on Bria I'm having some serious second thoughts on the combo due the added exposer to the strenghs and weakness AND the CH nerf upcoming.
I would venture to say that riflemen/CH is the best all around combo atm.
However, IMHO, point for point (all of 92 for master pistoleer) is better all around PvP and PvE then the skill intensive elites like BH. Even if you dabble you still need all of scout and marksman just to make novice. Thats a lot of wasted points if you're not going to be making camps, traps, getting meat or using all the weapons.
I would soonermastercarbiner, pistoleer, or riflemen, and have plenty of points to spread out in the other professions. Plus, in pistoleer, you're already half way to smuggler (riflemen and carbiner lead no where).
If pistoleer was actually fixed we would be the best all around combat class point for point. Maybe thats why most of our stuff is broke atm
Dear SomeUser
I know about the CH changes and have taken steps to make sure i can use my GSP still, with my 1400 I can still use it, I posted what my spec is in last post, so this question could be answerd with ease.
if my GSP or my mountain dewback nerfed er "fixed" then I might just drop CH all together. and get me some weak lvl 10 pets that are disposable.
