Heh, set out to try a gorax or two last night. First thing I did when I logged on and realized that the various endor lairs were spawning behind me was setup the exact same macro badger mentioned, then started flying. Found one reletively quickly near that mystery ring of pillars (never been to endor, heh) and proceeded to dismount, WP, and go at it. Knockdown, burst run, elect, elect, elect, runrunrunrun incap db clone, rinse repeat.

I'll try it again when I grind out MCM. with just 0004 of CM I clearly don't have the sticking power to handle them, and I need more experience kiting. A pistol (or rather the money for a pistol) below 84 sac would help too.

Just adding to the data collection, 10 Goraxi (... that sounds nice, doesn't it?) killed, one delicate trigger assembly and 9 nothing.

With x/x/x/3 CM you have all the drain you need, you just need to practice a bit.

I went out last night and checked all my hot waypoints multiple times...and none spawned

That's a lot of driving for nothing.

Well I did my very first Gorax hunt last night. Only though I only found one it dropped nothing. It was a great experince and try to become a pro like the rest of you all. I just need to find more so thatI can get my vast waypoint data.

I'm actually starting to think that SoE silent nerf'd the drops. I know I've killed well over 100 gorax in the past two days, and I got about 10 triggers, 3 sets of bone shards. One set was +149, the other two were under 100 damage. And I know I looted 5 sets of shards, and a trigger off about 10 gorax, so I don't think the smuggler loot really broke it. Knowing SoE logic, they nerf'd it to make up for the pearls/crystals not dropping flawless/prems.I mean, I cansolo a goraxin under 4 minutes without armor/foods etc. There is no real harm to me and it's easy. Doesn't seem fair that we can get uber weapons off easy lvl 83 kills while theycan't get uber weapons at all.I could be wrong, but the only decent drops I've heard of lately were 2 +186 bones and that was only after almost all day of hunting and getting mostly empties.

I could be wrong, and I know SoE breaks a lot of things so it's probably the smuggler loot, but there is a chance they nerf'd it I think.

Usually that means someone else had a pop at that mob before you, did a load of damage and then died.

You come along and kill it and you dont get rights, happens a lot with krayts.

Or did some other mobs aggro it?

Isnt there now an issue with pets stealing lootrights?

In any case, good info, all.

I cant decide if I should go hunting with the rest of you, or keep selling my wares in the hopes someone on Starsider here will loot some > 180+ bone and sell it to me...

What times are you usually on? I could use some help until I get a feel to kiting them.
