So as soon as a weaponsmith gets the schematic (through the geonosian quest being added) the stats will be far greater then what we see in this screenshot.

So, overall, i can't wait to use this weapon

The condition (287/750) furthers your assertion that it's a loot drop, since looted weapons almost always have crapped out conditions.


PersonallyI can't wait to use one of these puppies! Should be very cool!

if this gun can be put high into the pistoleer skill tree, i think that with 100-300 dam and 2.4 speed won't unbalance the game

they could make it master pistoleer or put it into on of the pistol trees

I mean, Techniques is the best skill tree we've got, and it's probably the most popular too. Yet, they put the Ranged Mitigation in the Techniques tree instead of Grips, Stances, or Marksmanship. Now they're adding the cert for the new pistol to the Techniques tree. They should've put either Mitigation or the new weapon cert in the Marksmanship tree. The only thing I'd like changed about some of the additions, is the placement.




This is not the only addition they are making, its not an uber weapon, if they put it in a popular tree so be it, I think its fine. Not everything in this game should be master level or difficult to get. Now on the other hand they should make BETTER pistols and place them higher and even better pistols for master level. I am so sick and tired of promised master bonuses, and all the devs do is take something away from a lower level amd move it up to the master box. wth is that about.??? Make master mean something by adding NEW, and ORIGINAL weapons and skills, do no take away from lower boxes.

OH, and you put it on the tree that everyone from TKA to Chef uses. Can we have our own professional perks yet?





Couldn't agree more here....


Why pick such a popular tree to stick it on? Everyone and their grandmother dabbles in the Fanshot tree.



Also the stats are too weak. Hopefully somebody used some junk materials and forgot to experiment.

Yeah the stats suck. I have a tangle that has almost the exact same stats. Speed is slower but at master it doesn't matter it shoots fast anyway. The one thing about the tangle is that it does have a 64m max range so it would still be my stun gun of choice. If they make it better then I'll live by this gun in PvP but until then the Republic Blaster is still more versatile.

If this is true then no one has found the quest yet (and we've definitely been trying).

Umm would be nice if the stun component had AP.

Our DX2 still is way underpowered for a pistoleer. So instead of modifiying the DX2 they throw in a gun with stun component and no armor piercing. It's just another version of a tangle. I have a tangle that's like 70-149 sliced, which isn't bad...

I really do hope this gun will be 100-300 from a weaponsmith, of course then it would definately make pistoleers way too powerful.

Would be nice instead of a stun, maybe cold or electricity. We already have quite a few guns with energy already, and an addition to say like electricity would be nice. I think more creatures are also just as vuln to electricity next to stun.

Isn't there a new FWG5 too? Featherlight or something like that.


So this is going to be a rare schmatic? great, so on my server it will cost 200 minimum, and it will get a lame slice for sure after you drop the cash.


It's nice they are putting them in the game, but they are still ensuring that they are all buy useless to most players, even master pistoleers.

Still wont matter being as pistoleer cant target mind I dropped master pistoleer for TKA as for useless i get a good laugh outta that one
