#1 - You do not need CH for this. Either go buy some adv ubese, or any decent kinetic resist armor (60%+ kinetic is advised)

#2 - baz have two mobs guarding the lair...warningshot one of them away, the other will aggro you (bleed both of them before warning them if you can take a couple of hits)

#3 - healthshot1 & 2 the incoming mob, then warningshot it away. Repeat on other mob when it returns from first warningshot.

#4 - spam BS2; kite,warningshot, and suppressionfire as necesary

#5 (important) - pop the lair ONCE (normal shot, no big damage specials) after killing the first two guards. This will spawn the next wave, but there will be a delay between the 3rd & 4th mobs popping. Repeat #2 - #4 until these two mobs are down.

#6 - The last wave of two will spawn around 1/2 the lairs health. Be ready with warningshot to run one of them off, then repeat #2-#4 until these two are done.

#7 - Kill lair

#8 - Rinse, repeat on next lair

I've done this on seperate occassions for 35k combat xp (to master pistoleer many moons ago) and up to 1.1 million pistol xp (recently, to master smuggler)

Sorry Vader, but I do agree with Fiegn Death, I rarely use it, and I am sorry you feel like I am using the (broken)combat system as a way to get by, and if you think this template is the cheapest PvP template.........lol.........whatever dude, have fun.

I would like to add that using dot's and then feign death is NOT exploiting the combat system as to teh fvact athat all of the moves are working EXACTLY as intended. ITs just a particular style of play, and doing so is rather time consuming as well. tahts how i solo krayts- and its very annoying whhen im feigning and some annoying comando comes up and finishes off my dragon that im soloing before i get a chance to tell him im not incapacitated...

My Starsider char is Pistoleer/Smuggler.. Pistoleer 0/1/4/2, Smuggler Pistols Feign Death so far only.

Starting up with the pistoleer, before I got fanshot, Feign Death was a way of life.. Now I only use it when I'm in trouble.

Funny seeing Pistoleers complaining about dabblers - seeing that lots of them "dabble" in the pistol line of BH and run around with the Expert BH tag on

Savage, umm i wasn't talking about yopur template being cheap in pvp, i was talking about it being cheap in PVE, i already stated that twice before so not sure why you still think im bashing you about PvP.Obviously your template isn't geared towards being a PvP machine or you wouldn't have so many artisan skills.

To the above poster who thinks im complaining about dabblers, dabbling has nothing to do with it.Savage said pretty much that [istoleer/CH'sare lame and eveyone should try solo tatics like him.I just pointed out that his template was much more lame when it came to "solo" tatics then any pistoleer/ch using a pet could ever be.

Greeble: I agree you don't need to get CH to do this. But some people can't afford Advanced Ubese.

Better yet, get advanced ubese and get CH then u'll be set.

You've got a good setup, perhaps try the squill cave solo. The drawback is that you won't be making money like you do with the nitch missions.

hrmm sounds ez, decided to come back to swg (lastnight), got my first holocron sith, (pistoleer) so here i am. Im currently tkm, has feign death and some gurreks for tanks.
J/c how many times you have to bleed the biz natches to get them near 1, will hs1 and h2 be it?

Glad I read this thread before I asked my questions . I'm a Master CH and was told to master Pistoleer by the evil little box. I should have enough Pistol xp for novice tonight, and then I'll go give some of these tactics a shot with my graul maulers. Anyone have other advice?

Interesting... just have to grind up to fanshot first . I do have a pre-nerf krayt fwg5 with a .7 attack speed, so that should be plenty fast enough.
