power leveling? what's that? This game doesn't lend itself to PLing. I reccomend against it .

i did the same thing actually, months ago tho. I timed my pistol XP....i made 170-190k pistol XP in 1 hour when i tried hard.

i suggest you get buffed put on kinetic armor like ubese or something and goto the squill cave. heat vuln squills = fast good xp. when you clean it out search the surrounding area for brambles those spawn more mountain squills about 5k xp a pop.

60k every 20 min is good exp?

Dont make me laugh.

I get 50-60k every 6-10min

BTW: having an at st makes it faster

LOL i'm 1 1 0 0 CH (just retrained it...former CH from before, had 100k CH xps banked) and novice doctor working Pistoleer. went to Yavin 4 with 0 Pistol...not even Marksman...got to Pistol 4 before i realized what happened, and expect Pistoleer to keep screaming by.

i love Mawgax...FWG5 rips them up...and the Republic Blaster chews up nearly everything.

Um savage nation by looking at your template your just as bad as any pistoleer with ch skills.Lol ley me guess your tatics revolve around HS1/HS2 fire dot and then hit the feign death!

Actually, yes I am a dabbler but who isn't?...Deep respect for all Masters but, I still did the work myself with no petsand by the way I low blow with my LP cause ithits 95% of the timeand then HPBC the crap outta you then maybe a flame2 if your still alive.

Silent Jay: Yes I know if you have an AT-ST you're obviously going to be leveling faster. But I'm trying to help people who have just started the Pistoleer proffesion, and don't have ANY other background at all to help them level faster.

Obviously if you have 1)friends willingto help 2)another skill set 3)an atst You're gonna level faster.

Savage, I didn't say their was anything wrong with dabbling.I was just pointing out that your template is the cheapest possible template in terms of tatics.Also i wasn't referring to PvP, I was talking about PVE because that's what this thread is about.You talk about **edit** and people hiding behind their pets and they should try solo tatics like yourself etc, but i have to give more props to a pistoleer/ch then someone who chose a template that exploits the combat system where they can just lay on a couple DoTs and hit feign death taking out any mob in the game with ZERO risk at all.At least with their pets they are assuming some risk but stacking DoTs and FD'ing is as cheap as it gets.

Hopefully SOE will get around to adressing this sometime soon, best solution i can think of is to make it so if a mob has a DoT on it then the next timethe DoTticks it causes the FD to fail.

bleh so Im master ch and have an at-st =X i like pets what can I say.....so the "quickest" way for me to get exp would be???? (sorry im a noob)

You guys are a bunch a pokeman wannabies; try taking on something SOLO asI have this entire game, its solame hearing about how CH's get their XP andmoney, try making it YOURSELF and not letting a pet do your dirty work. LAME.

very nice post indeed. Your tactics work very well.

I may also recommend mereks on endor. Get a graul or mauler in your group to go after the lair, and use an energy weapon to mop em up. They drop fast as they are energy vulnerable, and yoeld massive xp- 4k.
