WE ARE GETTING THEM!!!! DUEL PISTOLS

the question asked:

"will duel wielding ever be implented?"

Blair answered: "We had a motion capture shoot a few months ago and captured motion for duel wielder of weapons."

KaernLegorah, if you have a problem with people who use "duel" when they mean "dual", then you have a problem with.....Well, let's just say you'd be safest if you left town and changed your identitiy

Maybe you could bunk with Yoda.

Wait....I don't remember Yoda ever using "Jedis".

Of course, his backward sentences could drive anyone up a wall

Hmmmmm, I'm kind of against duel pistols being at master pistoleer.

There are 3 characters we know of that duel pistols in the Star Wars Universe. They are Jango Fett, Aurra Sing and Han Solo. If we look at each of these characters we know none of them were master pistoleers. Jango Fett was probably a master BH that dabbled in pistoleer. Aurra Sing would be a near master BH with a bit of FS. Han would be a near master smuggler with artisan and pistoleer. None of these characters would be Pistoleers in game terms. I'm thinking maybe put duel wield high enough up the pistoleer tree so dabblers can JUST get it. Maybe have it so you need a couple skills to obtain it.

PS Han duel wields in the comics, not in the movies!

I recall the devs stating waaaay back in November (just before I got the game) that dual wielding would be implemented sometime.

My 2 pence: Dual wielding would be very nice, though it should be a master pistoleer thing and you can onlyeither DW two of the same weapons, or it should be a single item that's a pair. I don't think elite-elite profs are a good idea.

Formerly:
Pedr-Dwl Wibble - Gunslinging tracker for hire on Farstar - Staff Cpl, Imperial auxillary
Elisa von-Smolloff - Pyromaniac bird of Infinity - Cpl, Rebel special forces
Now gone.
Doesn't see the point of a bile-venting "I'm leaving" thread.

Make dual pistols available to dabblers? You have got to be kidding me. Right now the reward for being master pistoleer is, well, another broken special and skill mods you need to even be useful with a pistol if you dont grab the BH treeof pistol. I have to stop typing now as I already can sense myself begining to flame here.........

People over analize too much. Since when has any video game ever strictly followed the story line of a movie?

He didn't, which is why when players use it it bothers me.

Uh....In the movies, they didn't have a set number of skill points

And if you do want to follow the skill point system, Jango could have been a Master Pistoleer with BH 3040 (or BH 4030), and Han Solo could have been Master Smuggler, Master pistoleer, and Artisan 4000. I'm not sure about Aurra Sing, but she was probably able to use the force to manipulate the DEVS' minds and make them give her some extra skill points if she needed them.

And anyways, it would be bad if dabblers could get dual pistols. Dual pistols would be something to make Master Pistoleers more unique than dabblers.

lol I'm just messin around. I always notice mistakes like that, and I usually pick up on grammar mistakes (thoughI make plenty of my own so I don't point them out!). I ignore is 99.9999999% of the time, but every now and again I've got to comment

Randonb wrote:

I don't think fans of grammar would be happy with Yoda. Personally the word "jedis" gets under my skin. I don't care if it's right or wrong, I just prefer "jedi" be used for singular and plural.

I also want to point out that current rumors indicate professions in the SE would have a seperate set of skill points, usable onlyfor the expanded professions.

Yeah, the spelling of Jedi (plural) being written as "Jedis" really bugs me too, but I'm a huge dork

The one word that really bothers me when it's spelled wrong is "ridiculous." I constantly see people writing "rediculous," and it drives me nuts. But I bite my tounge andignore it as best I can! hehe

I remember hearing that rumor about SE having a separate set of skill points for piloting skills. I certainly hope they do it that way, because taking away from crafting/entertaining/medical/combat skills in order to fly a ship would really really suck!
