Thread: Why have the devs made our coolest looking gun, the DE-10, a watered down version of the RB?

God but I wish there was an old west mmorpg... I would so totally play that. There isn't however so I'll make do with RP'ing a gunfighter in SWG. I think there is room within the star wars framework for that.

Maybe I'm wrong but this doesn't look very good, Granted it's not made with best resources so the stats will be better when it is. I hope the speed is fixed though. 4.3 for a pistol is pretty pathetic. Unless we have to take it apart and clean it between each shot. lol
The smith who made the weapon has Very good resources...maybe not as good as some of the older smiths on the live servers, but his stuff is about on par with normal smiths so dont expect very much in speed and damage increases. Also. this weapon will not be available with patch 8...so it may be updated again. It will be available with the Death Watch Bunker.
So how about we just wait and see what the devs decide to do with it...putting out the weapon as is would be kind of dumb, they could very well be making calculations to see if giving us a Cold damage or an AP2 weapon would screw some things up...

What, are you saying a muzzle loader doesn't feel Star-Warsy?!?!? You just need to use higher quality materials when building the ram-rod component ....
quit whining..... the stats aren't the ones that will go live.... besides, it has a MUCH higher minmum and maximum damage than republic blasters
also it is going to fit with the new combat system, so instead of making guns they have to fix later, they're making guns that will be useful with the new combat rebalance in place
