For you it revolves around PvP, if that is what you need, then that is what you need, the point is the game was sold as not forcing a player to partake in PvP, if all the patches are centered around PvP and ingore how it affects standard play, and makes standard play harder, then that is no longer so.

Oh and whatbenifit is the master marksmen and scout titles you mentioned. The skills granted for markmes help some, the scout ones are pratically useless unless you went ranger. BH do not get much from it, they can run up hills faster, but NPCs do not follow the rules for slower movment speeds on terrain so that isn't that helpfull. Traps are useless against NPC humonoids, camps are not worth much as BH is made as a solo profession.

I used a master titlefor the apprentice xp, and I hate how you can not go back to no title, as it resets to the last you had everytime you log, so each time you have to change it back.

You sure are feisty for a profession that takes 35 points and 1 day to get novice of.

"No one who spends half their life learning a trade such as BH should be better then someone who's spent their entire life with one weapon"

The all too common pistoleer misconception. If you spent your entire life with one weapon what exactly did you do to fill out those other 152 skill points. Absolutely nothing or this statement is false. You spend 39% of your life with pistoleer, a bh spends 87% of their life learning BH.

i said this on another thread and im gonna say it again here, you guys are meant to be masters of the pistol, you guys train in many different uses for the pistol, defence, knockdown, disarm, and a ton of skills you guys are versatile with your skills, or i should say you would be, if all your ksilld worked right. Bounty hunters are supposed to track you down and kill you...FAST, and we can do that with a pistol maybe even a little too well, im not experienced enough to know that yet. now you guys think we kill you to fast thats fine we probobly should considering your defense tree is completely broken, and from what i have heard from pistoleers a lot of your weapon skills are broken too. so i guess i have 2 points here, one BH should hit hard and hit fast and know how to kill people very effectively, and two maybe you guys should try to get your class fixed instead of BH nerfed

This conversation is dead and pointless. Here is why.

(You can't compare a pistoleer to a bounty hunter, because they are not comparable.)

As stated by the developers of this game, as posted at the top of your own forums.

The biggest problem with BH's is that our profession needsa revamp.

The biggest problem with pistoleers, is they're too busy looking at how the grass is greener BH's.

I've seen Pistoleers take down BH's quite easily.

My guess is, #1: Your tactics suck.

#2: You're stat pools are set incorrectly for your playing style.

#3: You aren't using those other 150+ skill points on a profession to give you an edge, instead you probably have DE skills or Master artisan or something instead of something like Doctor, Creature Handler, Combat medic, Ranger, etc.

#4: If you want BH's to stop trolling your forums, then focus on what your profession needs, and quit using BH's as the excuse for the fact that you don't know how to play your toon effectively enough to win.

You won't be UBER, you will be balanced with Rifleman/Carbineer, you will never be balanced with BH, because it's not even in the same catagory as PISTOLEER. If the dev's saying it isn't good enough for you, then you've got serious problems because it's not going to change.

I've posted this already somewhere else but it applies to all pistoleers thinking they should be the best with pistols. Let me know where you find in the descriptions where it says pistoleers are the most powerful, strongest, or best users of a pistol.

Definition: \Pis`to*leer"\, n. [Cf. F. pistolier.]
One who uses a pistol. [R.] --Carlyle.

Novice Pistoleer - The novice pistoleer gains significant improvements in short-range firearms along with a series of special abilities for nearly every situation.

Master Pistoleer - The master pistoleer has gained significant improvements in short-range firearms along with a series of special abilities for nearly every situation.
