Thread: Hologrinders: How to grind pistoleer in 15 hours or less
well i did as the advice suggested and bought myself a huurton as a pet, 1.5k health 2k action and 1.5k mind.
When i retrieved it and tried to tame it i couldnt! because i already own an AT ST as my faction pet im not allowed to own a normal pet?
can i still own a probot?
i'm going with subutai on this one. i grind-hunt on naboo, for two reasons.
1) i live there and there's no travel cost
2) it's low-risk
now, 3 or 4k xp per kill is good, but creatures on dant can be tough. on naboo, if you get either kaduu or gualama missions, you can get about 15k per lair (800-900 on the tougher mobs, 600 or so on the weaker ones, and 3k or so on the lair). now, i'm not very good at the game, but i can kill a 1.5k ham dappled gualama with about 4 bodyshot2's. that nets me 900 xp. using this method, i once earned about 90k pistol in about 2hrs. this might be a little slower, but you don't need buffs...just some stims and sit down every once in a while to regen mind more quickly. and of course, feel free to take on the random plains hunter or rouge fambaa for and extra 3500xp. just watch out for those peko peko albatrosses!
Muon Gold is a spice made at Spice level 4 by smugglers. It adds +500 to all your blue bar stats for 600seconds with the inverse spice downer afterwards of course. You can only take one spice at a time. HOWEVER! You can stack food AND drink with it. Fishak Suprise is good for this, Mstr level Chef drink, as is a level 4 food from chefs called Glucose Pate. WIth 2 Fishaks, 2 Glucoses, and a Muon, I can get my mind up to about 2k or so if the foods were experimented to give high numbers. And Glucose Pate is nice to haev on deck when your Muon crash hits in a fight.

Are the Tortors on Talus the same as the big turtles on Rori?
I'll have to try out these 3; Tortons, Baz Nitches on Dath, and Quenkers on Dant. I tried a brief trip on Dant solo a little while ago as Novice Pistoleer, got some kind of Bol thing that aggrod and almost killed me. Too tough.

Adv Comp Armor @ 71% resis to most stuff including kinetic
a crate with about 7 moun's left
a pet i cant tame (hurrton lvl 10)*
*Owning an AT ST means i cannot use my hurrton? what do i do?
What else should i get if anything else?

Are you a CH? What level is this Huurton? It may be out of your league.

Savage quenker missions are lvl 32. They pay 6900cr.
Someone asked if SQs attack the mind, from what I've seen, they do random pool attack.I need Muon Gold because of armour encumbrance and spamming specials. I can still do the missions without, but it takes longer.
BODYSHOT vs. STOPPINGSHOT
I've tested killing these with all bodyshots (lower dmg, focused on health) and stoppingshot (about 3 times the dmg, but random pool). Sometimes stopping is faster, sometimes body is faster. So I think this is up to you.
overall i earnt about 30k in 15 minutes (xp that is) then i got killed and lost my buffs :-/
