Nothing good about this at all.

Making it difficult to hit a specfic HAM has 2 negative effects:

1.) Makes the Doctor/??? a god class since everytrhing but mind he can heal and he may even be able to heal it after rebalance.

2.) Eliminates all but the highest random HAM special as the best attack. For example for us Stopping shot and Fan shot are the 2 only viable attacks even if you have the BH line of pistols as they are random pools and high damage.

These proposed changes will take all the good things in SWG and throw them out. There was a much easier way to make mind not the weak link. Double the main mind stat on brandy so that with 2 brandy you would be close to a Doctors buffs and a entertainer buff would make it the strongest link. Then make it so you can't heal your own health/action while in combat. The problem would be fixed. Now they are gonna make it so anyone with medic skills will be god because you can't target mind and they can heal everything else.

I'm disappointed that nothing's been said about the armor rating issue yet. I don't mind the HAM/specials interaction the way they are now (even if buffs make it pretty much a joke), and even the fact that riflemen shoot just as fast as we do doesn't offend me in any deep way (I don't PvP, which is probably why).

What really bothers me is that all of the high-end content in the game has 60%-100% resistances to all damage types and medium or heavy armor, meaning that pistoleers, basically cannot participate. Places like the Corvette and the Death Watch bunker aren't restricted to master-level characters, they're restricted to riflemen, because they're the only ones who can do any damage against these things.

A seriously hard look needs to be taken at the dev's easy answer to upping the challenge of a dungeon simply by slapping big beefy armor and resistances on things, and I hope that the armor and armor piercing system is getting a complete overhaul as well.
