Actually you're factually incorrect. The degree of improvements is limited by the quality of materials. While loot can be used as a short cut, loot and good materials is what results in a good weapon.
A smith with crap ingredients and good loot will turn out results about equivalent to a smith with good ingredients.

BH should be theBEST at PvP. Pistoleers should be the BEST at using PISTOLS.

Didn't I see that this person is the new pistoleer correspondant? And he has THAT type of an attitude? Man, that was a big mistake on the "hiring" (approval) end.
There is no room for childish verbal sniping on the devs, in particular with false statements. Just because they didn't include you in each daily meeting doesn't mean they haven't been dealing with the issues.
The red statement above (quoted) is a tribute to ignorance.
BH is supposed to have gadgets and stuff to help them. The goal of BH is to hunt other players down and kill them... for a price. That is our job killing. I doubt we will ever get payed for killing others though.

A pistoleer is a guy with a pistol. A bounty hunter is a killer or capturer of people. Explain why Pistoleer should be better.
Not totallybetter than Bounty Hunter.
Just better than a Bounty Hunter with a PISTOL.
We should dominate all other classes in the use of our chosen weapon.

Not sure if this was about what I had posted. I realized I was not clear about what I said. I was referring to what is on TC now, not what is on the live servers. 7% is what you get added to the base % when experimenting with 1 pt.on a great success. Now onn TC, you only get 4% per great success. Experimentation was 'fixed' according to TH in a post I read a short time ago. Instead of taking 8 greats to go from 18% to (72% maxed) and then having 2 pts left to decrease ham or increase condition, 10 greats will only get to 58% with the TC changes, so speed and damage won't be maxed.
All crafters will be affected by this if it goes to Live servers.

How can you be the best at PvP when you don't have any skill trees related to PvP? There's only one profession in this game that has a PvP related skill tree. Bounty Hunters aren't it.
