ty for all the tips guys was a great help.

i made some ffwg5 from 180/-0.41 bones and they became generally this:

372 - 965/2.14/accb 1/DPS 312.38/SAC 78

or with scopes

374 - 963/2.21/accb 20/DPS 301.69/SAC 78

so my quiestion is that tough the dpsis not that good of the 2nd, ithink its still much better cause of the accuracy bonus?

im listening to all other objections what mistakes i made about em...

thanks

i never look at the dps when buying a weapon and never record/look at the dps when making them

great damage, great SAC, accuracy, speed

SAC mostly i try to pull under 80. 77 or lower is better (can still max damage line)

Damage nearly always in upper 800s-900s-damage cap

accuracy 12-17 depending on if i think the speed of build can offset the speed penalty of scope

tonight i intend to make a HCSP and DL44xt at the Damage Cap, Wound Cap and 70 SAC. 70 may be pushing it if i want to make the damage cap, but i am sure a loss of 1-8 points of damage or 3 or 4 SAC will be sweet anyway

Weapon speed effects the cooldown timer on special moves. That is, the time between one special and the next.

The faster you are, the less time this takes.

Weapons speed and the recovery timer on the special move itself determine how fast you can fire.

Try using Quickdraw and then Bodyshot and go back to quickdraw again. Rather than trying to spam the same move over and over, if you alternate them you fire a lot faster.

Excellent guide, Badger.

I'd like to add that I've found Delicate Trigger Assembies on NS Stalkers and Canyon Krayt Dragons.

Question: Is the minimum damage on a crafted gun affected by any looted components or is it a random crafting thing? Also, when slicing for damage under the new system is min damage affected or only max? I'd hate to waste a damage slice on something near the max damage cap but if it would bring up the min damage...

The Gorax and Krayt tissues only effect Max Damage and Speed.

Minimum damage gets a boost too, there is a theory that the 8% goes off the minimum damage and that number is added to min and max but I'm not sure about that.

The system is new so players are still collating data and finding bugs in it. It may even be prudent to hold off on slicing till these concerns are fixed.

My HCS is 1.78 speed 948 max damage a 76 SAC and +17 accuracy. I think it is good, however it seems that people are saying I should go for lower SAC, try to get under 70. Should I try to get a new gun made or am I not going to get much better of a gun? (I farm krayts for money makeing since my BHing skills don't make me rich). To add, should I use a SAC pup and not damage? I use 30% max 5% min damage pups now, get my gun to 1057 max damage and 1.87 speed. (moded speed wtih pup is 1.16). My build is MBH/Mpistoleer. I alter the last few points all the time, now they are in medic, beore I had them in smuggler and so on. Any advice will help. (also what moves to use).

Is 1.78 the natural speed, or your modified speed? If it's the natural speed then you need to ADK that gun yesterday.

That is the guns normal speed, it had a 12% speed slice. My moded is 1.16.

"in PvP, against defense stackers and master defender jedi, you are going to hit for your min damage, or dange close to it, keep that in mind."

Yeah, there was a price check thread in my galaxy's trade forum asking opinions on a handful of newly crafted scatters and such, they had huge variation in min damage and one replied saying the one with the highest max dmg was good and that min damage doesn't matter these days.

I noticed a difference when using my 370 min DE-10 compared to my 452 min DE-10 and my 555-1165 powerhammer also hits pretty hard, that min damage gets squeezed through aura and COB and the high defenses. So I look for or craft weapons with as tight damage range as I can get, the higher the min, the better.
