there's some really good stuff here.....I'd liked to add to this though.

I leveled from somewhere along the lines of marksman 3-4-3-4 to about pistoleer 0-1-4-2 all in one place for the most part, did have a couple of group outings on dantooine though but not much.

Anyway, caves, caves caves.......you don't need high kenetic armor but it helps and makes things a lot easier, you only need buffs if you don't have med skills and you don't need pets. The aakuan cave on talus can pull in lots and lots of xp. The thing is that they are all melee and since the original poster has feign death it should be a little easier for him.

walk in the cave and from the maximum range possible use healthshot 2 then 1 and immediately peace. Make sure you use yourmost damaging weapon because bleeds completely bypass armor and resist. This way you can get massive bleeds. Then run run run to the front of the cave......dont step out of the cave until they come around the corner on the final run to the cave entrance. If you happen to get your bleeds of without them going arggo on you then that's even better......but they will immediately arggo you soon as the first bleed ticks anyway but will only come after you if you are still inside the cave.

as soon as you see them come around the last corner, run out of the cave either to the far left or right (don't matter)......they will not come out of the cave as long as you are not in their direct line of sight even though they are bleeding. Also, don't let them get closer than 30 meters when you exit the cave or else they might warp outside on you.....one of these guys is tough when your just a marksman like I was and 2 will probably kill you now that the juiced up npc's specials.

Now just sit and wait until they bleed very low or all the way to 1 HAM depending on how strong your bleeds were. Walk back in the cave and shoot them 1 time for instant death.

You will get massive xp......you will get as much as 5k for reds, 4k - 4.8k for yellows, 3k for white......and so on. The good thingin your favoris that even if they catch you....you have pistolwhip, so either whip them or feign death....or both.....I used suppression fire a lot because it made them kneel then they would automatically walk towards me after they get up allowing me more time to put some hot laser fire in'em.

This cave spawns every hour....so you have that much time to clear the cave. There are approxiamitely 45 npc's in about 15 groups throughout the cave with 2 npc's outside the cave.

A bonus in this cave is that you will loot credits, great armor and clothing attachments, DOT weapons, +10 ranged defense rings, +10 bleed resist shirts, +10 Poison resist robes, +10 disease resist belts and various other stuff like blaster rifles and projectile feed mechanisms.......but keep in mind that the loot may differ due to which server your on and it seems that loot from npc's in caves shift like resources do with every server reset.

Not only did I level up in this cave, but I made almost 2 million from loot drops and I still have about 5 million in attachments left.

After this cave I went to dantooine and did the same thing with the kunga cave. They don't give credits and only drop DOT stone knives, DOT wood staffs and DOT reinforced staffs.....but you get more attachments from the piles of junk and containers.....sometimes theirs milk in there too. They are tougher than the aakuan cave but I made master on them in one day.....there are a lot of them in this cave too......

My whole strategy was to take out as many as I could while minimizing the damage I took and most importantly......no dying

Another thing you can do which I didn't do until I was pistoleer 3-4-4-4 is get yourself some breath of heaven drinks and rsyshcate food from a master chef.....these will boost your strentgh, quickness and focus up high enough that your specials will not cost you must at all and will also cut down on the damage you take from enemies. I am pretty lucky because on my server theres a chef who makes them and they last almost 8 - 10 minutes. The both disappear about the same time and you can take both again immediately....also there is no downer like muon gold and neutron pixie gives. I can drink 1 BOH and eat 2 or 3 rsyshcate's (can't remember exactly how many).

last thing, you can do this when you need to get 5k combat xp too....just use grenades to finish off your target when they bleed down to 1 or whatever amountof damge your grenades can take off.......

With this little strategy, I can solo the mutant rancor cave on dathimor now, with no pets at all.....although I didn't fair so well against the nightsister cave......can you say Force Choke......LOL
