Simply put read the sig... You are actually complaing about taking scouting skills when these are considered HALF of what of bounty HUNTER does. You have to find and track your opponent. Granted these are not working right now but that is a huge part of your class. Tracking down targets is the mainpart of the class andthe fight is a small part of the whole thing. If a bh uses a carbine on a carbineer then he in a head to head fight he should lose. Same with pistol vs pistoleer. Bounty Hunter means you spent a lot time learning many other weapons along with many other skills that allow you to do many other things. In essence as a bounty hunter you should be able to use your wide knowledge of weapons in order to pray on other classes short comings. You are a jack of many trades but a master of none. Therefore when you have the bounty you need to use your wits first and your weapons second.

I am not using devine insight into the inner workings of the Devs.

I am simply extrapolating based on past actions. Everytime some issue has come to theattention of the Developers they have ALWAYSdecreased the offense NEVER have they raised the weakerclasses to the strong.

In my opinion Pistoleers played a KEY role in getting BH nerfed.

Rarely do I PVP someone with A pistol. I really would like to know which BH pistol skill is killing all ofyou. I suspect its just the ranged knockdowns from the carbine tree and back to my original arguement.

Personally I dont use Torso shot in a one on one duel because it causes wounds and that is not really in the spirit of dueling.

The Pistoleer is composed of SO much whining its ridiculous.

I do not think that ANY OTHER CLASS complained about another class in their letter to the DEVS.

This was agreed upon by the majority of Pistoleers no? That is why I say that majority of Pistoleers whine.

Well BH deserves getting good stuff, I mean look at all this crap scout stuff. We need MASTER marksmen AND master scout, while pistoleer only need pistol 4. We spend many times more points for BH, isn't that what these games is about? Somethingthat takes a lot ofpointsto takes to get something should be better than something that cost less? BH don't get no defense mod, no pistol whipping knockdown, and all that stuff!

We are still broken, however you are right to say that we are the least broken at this time. The answer is not nor ever has been NERF. The answer is to fix all the classes to do what they are intended to then return with some fine tuning.

Out of curiousity, why do I see BarneyIX posting so much on the Pistoleer forum as a BH?? After reading some of his other comments in this forum I swear he's simply trying to piss us all off!

To what end BarneyIX? Do you want us to admit that our class is awesome needing no further improvementand bow our heads to the BH as KING? Should we not talk about our different broken or unfinished special attacks/pistol certs or ideas because it makes you sick at the sight of pistoleer talk? This forum is meant to talk about Pistoleer issues etc. Should we talk about Bounty Hunter and how certain parts of your skill tree are broken or worthless? NO!! That's what the BH forum is for... *smacks forehead*

You either spend all day in the forums or MOST of your forum time in the Pistoleer forum! Why can't you just be satisfied knowing you can kill us with a pistol in PVP? Is it completely unbearable to think we might actually have issues with that? Eye Shot. I'm a 0/3/4/2 Pistoleer, and every Bounty Hunter I've died to has just spammed Eye Shot. I don't care about speed or accuracy, that can be made up. The only thing that has made me think about taking BH Pistol on top of Pistoleer is Eye Shot. With the damage reduction and stim packs, most fights I'm involved in end up with "who runs outta mind first." Before the reduction if I got in a couple good fan shots or bleeds/body shots before I got mind zapped I could win...not any more.

High, Unhealable DPS. If this was the Master BH Pistol ability I wouldn't mind at all, that's a lot of god **edit** work and skill points to get. It would also keep dabbling Pistoleers from getting it, which would make BH Pistol users happy and truly different from Master Pistoleers.

I hate it when BH trolls say stuff like "Oh we spend so many points blah blah blah we only have 33 points left." BS, see all those people running around with "Expert Bounty Hunter" above their heads? That's the pistol title. I guarantee that less than half have even touched any of the other BH lines. I can also guarantee that most of them have taken Pistoleer for (at the very least) Pistol Whip.

It's funny, you never hear anyone discuss the Master BH specials, because most BHs (not on the boards, but in game) dont bother putting the effort into mastering the profession that the vocal minority claims to. I'm all for dabbling, it's what makes this game what it is, but 2 of the best abilities of both professions are available very early on in the trees. I'm of the belief that powerful things like Eye Shot and Knockdowns should be saved for true masters of their profession. If Eye Shot was the big reward for Master BHs, you'd probably see a good amount more of them.

There is no 'we' in the pistoleer profession. I picked Pistoleer because, hey, I decided this alt would be a Pistoleer. Not because I am exactly the same as all other Pistoleers. Yes, that's right, you are dealing with INDIVIDUALS!!! If you would understand that you would see how your **edit** thread topic is completely useless.

Why do ALL BHs cry that they don't get flamethrowers and jet packs? Why do ALL BHs "Hate Posers who I never met before" why do ALL BHs feel they should force others from joining PvP just so they can be uber Jedi killer guy (refer to Wepps older post, where he throws a tantrum at me for being logical, long story).

Why do ALL BHs act like **edit**ing **edit** for no reason? I could go on all day about what individual BHs have said and done and say YOU did them. Would you like me to? Is that what you want Barney? A freaking pointless flame war? I'm good at that, if you like I can do that, ask around. Be more careful with your words next time.

LoL that's exactly what I tried to tell him earlier in this thread, but no surprise, he just continued with the categorizing. I couldn't give a rat's ass about eye shot or BHs. It takes like 2 minutes to be fully healed since entertainers are a dime a dozen. So if a BH owns me in a fight, I just played wrong.

And for those of you who are uninformed, Pistoleers already have a ranged knockdown, with a second or third easily attainable (well the third isn't technically a knockdown, but similar delaying effect) so I don't know whatall this talk about asking for a ranged knockdown is about.

Pistoleers do beat BHs every time if the BH uses pistol and the pistoleer uses ranged knockdown. What's your point again? Knockdowns will be nerfed, afterwards, exactly what do master pistoleers have over the "Bounty Hunter Who Is Also A Master Pistoleer"?

eyeshot has a 3.1 damage modifer on MIND POOL ATTACKS...PLUS BLIND effect.

Body Shot 3 has a 2.4 damage modifier, on HEALTH POOL (You can heal health, did you know that?) and no state effects.

That's our #1 special vs your #1 special. I have BOTH specials. Eyeshot blows Body shot 2 and 3 away in both damage, effect, and usefulness in PvP (Mind pool is the #1 HAM pool to attack, you know this already)

How aboutwecompare the wounds/DOT of torso shot to something that pistoleers have? You have to stop there, because we don't have anything like that, sorry to tell you. Maybe you meant to compare your pistol speed? It's greater. Mastery Pistoleers are masters of nothing. Master Pistoler + BH Pistol is the real pistol master. That's why panties are in bunches. Give BH a different weapon, same skills, who cares, get off the pistols already.
