Isn't Bleeding Shot a gamble in terms of using it to assist Health Shot 2 & Fire Shot? Isn't it a random bar Bleed, so it isn't guaranteed to stick to Health? i.e. It might end up sticking to Action or Mind. Or am I misunderstanding how that special works? Or is it exactly like I'm thinking, but it's worth the gamble that it might assist with the Health bar decimation?

heheheh That's a lot of questions.

All at once? Or randomly selected per tick?

(I guess I'll log into TC and see for myself.)

Do you stand toe-to-toe with them so you can spam Intimidate when needed? Or do you stick it and kite?

Ah. I thought it was something from a Pistol special.

Is a Brawler special wise to use on something like a Nightsister? For one thing, would you even hit with just mods from 4000 in Brawler? For another thing, I thought it was important for the Pistoleer to be on the move? And finally, switching weapons kinda stinks with the delay now. Would it be smart to take Novice TKA for this purpose? (I currently take Slicing 1 just for extra credits.)

You can use it with any weapon equipped. It'll stick after you spam it a few times. You gotta be pretty close, though. Is it 10m? /shrug

I've landed intimidate from anywhere under 30m

Intimidate is a huge help and every person who has novice brawler can use it. When a enemy is intimidated there damage is lowered 50%. When fighting a tough thing like nightsisters I always use intimidate.

When I hunt nightsisters I use a republic blaster since a lot of nightsisters are relatively vulnerable to energy. I then intimidate and health shot 2 the NS to death.. I might throw in a low blow or something to help but its mostly health shot 2. You could use hs2 and torso shot to take out the ns even faster. A launcher pistol will be very helpful against some NS.

They have the chance to drop better loot alright, but lucking out takes a few hunts. So far I've made about 200K from three occasions (never full buff sessions though. I just wandered out about halfway through) in items I've sold, but I've also gotten two crystals I'm keeping (...and have no clue what they're worth...), one of which is purple, and a set of 9 heavy duty clasps I gave away to a tailor friend, aswell as some random crap like vibro lances with worthless DoTs, rebel transmissions etc.

However, looting things from a NS is a lot more fun than janta's. "Oh no, did i get ANOTHER stone knife?" vs "oo! oo! What if I got an Exceptional Scatter Pistol with mindfire THIS time!".

That, and where as a janta may dent you, nightsisters can actually KILL you. So no reading a book while hunting these hehe.

When you are pulling single Nightsisters, do you just keep running and running and running (kiting) away from your one target until it dies? Or are there better techniques?

Rarely will there be unlimited space to run around on (other spawns, terrain formations, stupid trees etc.) so I usually kite back and forth once I've pulled them from their cronies. This usually means they always end up catching up to me, which I don't really mind sinceI need to loot them aswell. Typically, I make sure they're always one fire, land an intimidate once they get below 30m, and when they go under 10m PMD1 (don't have smuggler) and then keep stopping shots up, unless their mind or health is getting low enough for a targeted attack.

Initial salvo goes: Torsoshot, Bleedingshot (AFAIK, it does bleed all pools), HS2, HS1, Eyeshot (if the blind sticks), Stopping shot -> and so on and so forth.

The loot is kinda nice. Not worth as much as janta's of course, but every "You have completely looted the corpse of all items" makes my pulse beat a bit faster. Fun it is

good to have some nutricake too, can kite'em at 63m. I like health2, torso, nutricake, then spam lastditch like mad untill they close in, then panic shot and intimidate X 3 or so, if intimidate dosn't stick, can munch a synthsteak if close to a kill, but best to just fiegn untill you are no longer tired then get up and repeat. Patience is the key, distance is a close second.

Thanks, Caix Catab.

What do you mean, "not worth as much as Jantas"? I've hunted Jantas until the cows came home. Never got anything better than lame crystals and even lamer weapons (sticks and stones). Once in a while I'll get a loot kit piece that isn't one of the ones I usually just delete. I thought higher-end Nightsisters had a better chance of dropping way better loot.

What have been your experiences?

I'm master pistoleer and BH pistols IV. I can solo a spellweaver. I use a mod republic blaster to start bleeding then I switch to a sweet striker pistol that Arox made. Might still have some at his shop outside of Theed. They are only 5 to 15% against kinetic I believe. Then I just use torso shot and keep the chick burning and mix in health shot in between torso shots. Works very well. Every once and a while I have to heal my self but if you take a TKM with you, the 2 of you can kill NS all night long.
