ya when ur buffed of course u can afford to spam stuff but when ur njot buffed its not worth it.


If you're not buffed in PvP I have only two words of advice: Run awayyyyyyyyy!

Here's a combo I use for Riflemen or other ranged professions:


Suppression - so you can close in.

Health Shot 2 - just to be annoying while moving in

Fan Shot - while you're not quite in range for a ...

PistolMeleeDefense1 - the knockdown... and while they are down hit em with coupleof...

Stopping Shot - Slow but a lot of damage, especially when your opponent is laying on his back.


UseBlue Milk, Bio Engineered Brandy and Moun gold to heal your mind as they hit you.

well to make good in pvp you indeed need to use all your tricks, being pistoleers gives you big arsenal of damage type guns, with diffrent damage type and armor piercing. and different speeds and damage outputs. with high pistol speed as master pistoleer (74+ pistol speed) we can fire most pistols very close to the cap (1s) but its very important to pick the right gun for your target. by the type of armor, and by experienced guess.


Guns - Pistols and their - damage type, AP, speed, and damage:


Fwg5 Pistol- Heat damage AP0 -Great speed,Great damage - around 50-200 2.0s- good for unarmored, and ubese armor, not good for composite or mabari armorweavearmor. (with goodfang and slice 80-260 1.5s)


Scout Blaster - energy damage AP0 - Great speed, medium damage - around 50-160 1.5s good for unarmored, not good for all alse (since all armors have energy resistance of some massure) (with good damage and slice 90-280 1.4s)


Striker Pistol - Kinetic damage AP0 - medium speed, low damage - around 60-120 2.5s very good for anthing that has low kinetic resistance (pve mostly) not good vs composite or ubese. (with good fang and slice 80-200 2.0s)


Tangle Pistol - Stun Damage AP0 - low speed, low damage - around 50-100 2.5s - very good vs armor, not good vs unarmored (since the low speed and dmg) (with good fang and slice70-150 2.0s)


Sonic Blaster - Stun Damage AP0 - low Speed,great damage - around 100-200 2.8s very good vs armor, and unarmored, not good only vs advanced composite with stun layer!. (with good 5xtissue and slice 170-412 2.4s)


Republic blaster - Energy Damage AP1 - low speed,Great Damage - around 80-200 2.7s - very good vs armored and unarmored. good pick of weapon! (with good 3x tissue and slice 110-300 2.4s)


Dx2 Pistol - Acid Damage AP1 - low speed, medium damage - around 100-160 2.7s - very good vs armored and unarmored. good pick of weapon!. (with good 5x tissues and slice 180-250 2.4s)


all these guns are unsliced and not enhanced (i added enhanced and sliced stats in brackets), so there is alot you can add to them, with krayt tissue you will add to your max damage and lower your speed, and with a good slice you can ether add damage or lower your speed.


tissue = krayt tissue (goes into the Power handler) and fang = spider fang (goes into the ammo feeding mechanism) after the great pistol nerf, there is no pistol that can be made today with both power handler and feed mech.


***the stats of sliced and tissue is from pistols i have seen with my own eyes, used, and or made! so there can be better i'm sure.


and DL44, D18, Power5,SRCombat, and CDEF pistols are avaliable - but they dont matter much and are not realy a good choice, all low damage and low speed, and energy type.


Tactics!


now to max out your attack not only use the right gun for the right target, but you would need to be wise about it, so to spam one type of attack would be kind of pointless, and would leave us open for attacks.


fan shot would be great, but even a 1000 damage fan shot, would only hit 1 ham 1/3 of the time.

body shot 3 is one great special to use, but its low on damage, dealing about 1/2 of the fan shot at about the same time,


best thing to do in a dual, is get your target on his back - Pistol Whip - (/pistolmeleedefence1) does the trick at amazing way, seems (after alot of experimantation) that the damage output of your pistol does effect the chanse of a KD -i.e a 200 max damage gun has much better chanse of KD your opponenet then a 100 max damage one.

so good thing to do, is use a high damage gun for the KD attack then switch to a gun matching your target.

(i.e if he's using armor use a Dx2 or Rep blaster)

on the floor try to get as many stopping shots as you can. if the health bar is close to end use body shots.



Rule number 1 in pistoleer book of PvP -

NEVER STOP MOVING!!!

we have great bonuse to shooting while moving, souse it! makes us much easier to hit.

***exeption to the #1 rule - but if you dual a Master Rifleman try to stay as close to him as posible they usualy do bit worst at point blank where we are good there.


try to -

always be at the ideal range of your pistol.

always watch the ham, have a neutron pixies, or booster blue spices ready for emergency.

always eat quickness food!!!, to lower the ham cost of our specials - the more specials you can shoot, the better the outcome would be.


try not to -

Dont use bleeding shots in duals, its a waist of a shot, since by the time the 1st tick should take place the dual should be already over!

Dont use - Kip up or Dive shot, they make us stop running!
