TKA's don't have dodge



And only dodge, block, and counter are getting capped. Defense stacking will still be in full force.







Does it not state its the Defense skills that will be capped?

and since the only skills defined as Defense is: Ranged, Meele, Dizzy, Stun, Blind, Knockdownand posture change


Dodge, Block and Counter-attack is not defined as defensive skills anywhere (counter-attack is offensive anyway)....






The pre patch notes say dodge, block, and counter only, unless they slip something in last second.

There are good things with this Template and bad... More good though if your PVP inclined.... bad if you just like doing PVE.


PVP: Rockes due to having a ranged attack to support the stronger melee side of your template. Smuggler has some awsome specials and pistoleer just lends a hand to defense bonuses and dodging. With the publish coming these defenses are way under 125 cap and will be in full force. With the TKM side of the coin you can smack people up with guns and yes we are getting an unarmed bonus against people with ranged weapons which makes this template one of the deadliest around due to ranged knockdowns and unarmed follow up. Another possitive aspect is TKMs healing abilitesbut they only work when not in combat... but your body will always be healthy so cloning and getting blackdamage is not an issue for you anymore when your healing wounds when meditating. So you save a bit of money there. Also TKMs power boost rocks for PVE play and some PVP applications if you have time to prepare. Smugglers feign death almost insures that you dont get death blowed but that is not a for sure thing.


PVE: now the down side of the coin... You have to be buffed all the time. It sucks because you have to say goodbye to that novice medic and you will not be able to heal yourself. You always have to be taking brandy due to TKMs vast amout of mind use and pistoleer also uses action but when buffed action is not a problem. Its the mind that you must use. The brandy takes care of this and if your up on brandy all the time your ok... but its pretty expensive at the moment so not good. Expect to be using up lots of loot to be at the top of your game. Also say good bye to terrain negotiation which is another weakness of ours. Anyone with terrain negotiation will be able to outrun you and your pretty much screwed once you use that one burst run to get your first victim.


All this is from experiance. I love the template and will never give it up... even with its downsides. I always buff and its just a matter of being prepared for combat and PVE situations. You become very elite and strong with this class but when you are recognized as being this elite by your enemies you will be the first targeted and killed becasuse they will take you out by tag teaming you.


Good luck on your decisions but remember this template takes alot of care and thought when using so be prepared and you will have alot of fun with this character template.

im a master bladesman and


I woop tk's 8 out of 10 times.


and that without stacking!


Why, cause tk's think they r so uber! ive even took out two fully buffed tk's at the same time


Play it smart and its not a problem..


now im going pistoleer and rouge tree at smuggler for some range.

I love the way when i was master fencer i was accused of defence stacking every time i owned someone =) cause it gave me an imaginary bunch of points to master doc aswell.

It's not stacking if it's just from your proffessions. It was only stacking when people had fencer dodge combined with pistoleer dodge for uber dodge. You can't blame anyone for having all the dodge their prof will allow. But stacking is gone now so whatever.

i think u guys missed me..


im doing pistoleer now.. im novice pistoleer!


never had 200'ish dodge, max dodge i have had before publish 7 were 125 and is the cap now


anyways is it not?
