so? then we are weak against 1 class with a couple of shots. It would still be useful alot of the time.


Personally I would like to see


Stopping shot - Stun and be targeted health

Pistol Melee Def 2 - KD, Stun, and Blind

multi target pistol shot - +30 chance to intimidate

Exactly. And I believe the devs said that "unequiping" is not possible code wise. Thus why I like the attack delay, like warcry, or the 15 and 30% reduction. That will "simulate" being disarmed. I believe at one point disarmingshots did damage to the weapon equipped, thus lowering the condition. Which is lame and totally not useful, and just becomes a greifing tool. How does that help us in that combat at that time? Why would I use that special and not one actually doing damage?


I kind of like the idea someone had about stoppingshot, being intimidate and health pool. But how about this, to go along with the name. It does action damage, "shoot at the legs to try and stop them from advancing" and does Intimidate? The intimidate shows that we just blasted the crap out of their legs and the ground around them to make them "STOP" in their tracks. You see it all the time in movies, shooting at the ground near someones feet, to "Intimidate" them.

The unequip part would work just fine, even with a tkm. A tkm trying to hit me without knucklers is like trying to blow up a tank by throwing a stick at it.

Hey Everyone, I've been pistoleer for a while now (I've dabbled in it numerous times, I've mastered it a month ago) and enjoy it quite a bit. The purpose of this message is to not to flame how pistoleer is broken - but rather what we can add to give a nice little touch to our profession. Give a summary of the attack and the type of damage it does.


MY ATTACK:

Slashing Blast: This attack is dealt at close range (10m or closer), and is a melee type attack on the lines of Pistol melee defense 1. The difference is that this attack counts as two attacks in one, knocking down your opponent AND blasting them while they're down. This attack results in your opponent being intimidated. This attack is possible because of a pistoleer's speed, so this attack would be under the speed tree of pistoleer as the fourth available skill. Damage is 3 x your base weapon modified, counting as 2 rounds of combat.


Post your ideas here, this isnt a flaming thread, just something to have some fun with.

Equivalence aside, these ideas are cool -I also meant to say that you can add to our current attacks to do things that they currently do, such as disarming shot actually disarming - throw out your ideas!

A spped boost.. and I am not suggesting a joke about burst run, but rather a boost w/ defense mods that give us the advantage in cities, where we typically should be fighting.

"ROFL you really think that Fencer doesn't do damage? You are not watching closely enough. They put out more damage then TKM at Master Fencer. Just less defences then TKM."


less defenses then a TKM?.... fencer is the best template defense wise. and i'm pretty sure they can't do 2500 damage a second. Now if you are talking pvp then yes fencer does hit harder because they have stun weapons but most of the game ISN'T pvp.

How about a center of being for pistoleers? Pistoleers are quick on their feet and should be able to apply those inherent abilities for self-preservation.

A melee attack where you jam your pistol barrel into the enemy's eye would be nice.
