Can you imagine the look on someones face if they knew they were going to be attacked by someone weilding TWO weapons? That would effectively double the damage output? That would make people think twice about /dueling a Master Gunfighter. I know it may be a lot to ask for, but I'd like some way to hit the mind too. As a pistoleer why shouldn't I be able to shoot at someones head? I know in every movie/game etc there is someone who gets capped in their dome by a Pistoleer. Why can't I be the one doing that capping?
I mean.. its pretty sad, I /dueld a TKA earlier today and must have been shooting at him solid for about 5 minutes. I was kiting so he couldn't do much damage to me at all, but I wasn't even touching him with ANY of my weapons (Tangle/DX2 (NICE ONE)/Launcher Pistol/FWG 5/Republic Blaster/MODIFIED Republic Blaster)
We were both buffed, and the damage I did to him just got regenned by his buffs before the next hit. Thats a little ridiculous.
As soon as he got close to me he Dizzy/KDed me and I couldn't get up. My mind bar just dropped like a sack of rocks, even with my +88% kinetic helmet.
I'm not saying nerf the TKA, I just want to be able to compete with him. We use the same amount of skill points, so we should be about equal in battle. In fact, I would think that 9 times out of 10 a Pistoleer *should* beat a TKA since he can kite. Oh well.. who knows where it goes...

Have you tried Panic shot with last patch ? No ? Maybe you should !

Name another class that uses Riflemen. Pistoleer gets both Bounty Hunter AND Smuggler.

Dear developers, we pistoleers have been put off since september, according to the threads, when are these updates going to happen?

Not entirely sure where you got that one from.
Rifleman, Carbineer, Pistoleer, TKA, Swordsman, Pikeman and fencer are ALL elite professions and ALL require just one skill tree line and as such should all be as useful and worth while as each other. BH, Smuggler and Commando are elite HYBRID professions.
You've obviously not taken the time to read up on the basic set up of skills and professions in SWG, let alone the problems of pistoleer that have been well documented on these forrums and can be read in the sticky posts.
Skill point investmentdoesn't meancombat lewtness.
Skill point investment means access to content, which arguably BHs have more than any other combat class.

If you want to discuss the use of SP, be my guest - let's look at the elite combat professions first - it takes 92 SP to master each one, all of which go into combat skills.
Now, Bounty hunter, it takes 217 SP to master, 77 of which arespent on master scout, 14 of which are spent on the investigation tree. This leaves 126 SP spent on combat ability, which is split three ways between carbine, pistol and LLC. meaning that 42 SP has been spent on each equally.
That means BHs should, going on just SP, be proficient as proficient with each weapon as a Novice elite profession with one and a half skill boxes.
You may have noticed BHs are infact much better than this with each weapon they are able to use - so please, DO NOT PLAY THE AGE OLD AND INNACURATE SKILL POINTS CARD FOR BOUNTY HUNTERS.
