Thread: I give up! This profession is a freaking joke

As soon as I tried out one of the post nerf FWs against a fellow pistoleer with a full set of buffs I posted here letting everyone know that there was a serious problem with our damage output... The reaction was one star and some flames telling me how everything was fine. *shrugs* Oh well.
Could it be that the devs, TH in particular, are Brawler classes when they do bother to play?
Once my pistol was my friend, it seens not so anymore

Now explain me, what's the purpose of your message, other than whinning around ? I don't see any opening for a discussion.
My point still stands and you haven't proven me wrong. Pistoleer alone is a joke. When you are using eyeshot, you are no longer a Pistoleer, you are a BH. A TKA does not need to use special from another profession to be sufficient, A Rifleman does not need to use special from the BH line to be sufficient in combat...
"Now that everyone has 80% composite, 2500 ham, you can't kill anyone that's buffed and armored as a Pistoleer unless you're a expert BH spamming eyeshot with a 2 million dollar Geo pistol."

(and got flamed for it)......Brawler classes *rock* They have always rocked....However its always been comvered up by the "I am being kited" excuse....
As a TKM, I can tell you, If your being kited, then your not PvPing very well....12 meters is ample range to catch and kill somone.
However, you are right, its funny how all the meelee classes (Except for pikemen!) are all well balanced and very cool to play, while the ranged classes are completly out of whack (Rifles to strong, carbines/Pistols too weak).
However, alot of this has nothing to do with pistolsor any "class"...It has to do with the horribly way buffs are broken...huge long lasting buffs have made "ultra heavy" armor widley available...69% comp was *never* ment to be easily werable....
I hate to call nerf, but doc buffs *need* to be toned down.....If they were to only buff like 1k per stat, they would still be extreamly powerful, But they would not allow "no ham cost specials" while in super heavy armor *and* would not allow super regen in heavy armor....

I found a way to doble my damm as master pistoleer I bought speed tapes and boosted my speed mods to 92. Also I have dirty fighting four which gives last ditch which has best pistol special dam in game. Btw before I brought up my pistol speed mods to 92 had 74 at 74 speed mod to spam stopping shot once a sec gun had to have delay of 1.0 . Now that I have 92 I can spam stopping shot once a sec using a gun with over a 3 sec delay.
What that means is I am able to get max dam slices and powerups on pistols in some cases this about doubles total dam. I e I can do a lot more dam a sec then I ever have before.
Though to be fair to get the pistol speed mods I did spend 4 mill but so far been worth every penny.
