Psy, I see you basically only have smuggler for feign death so I cant imagine you'll be too sympathetic to this point. WIthout a decent FWG5, smugglers have no real weapon options.

Also, lets get off the "stopping shot is amazing" talk. It has the highest delay penalty in Pistoleer. The fastest I've heard anyone shooting stopping shot is every 2 secs (at master level) and the best i can do right now is about every 3.5 seconds.

I'm a Master Smuggler and 0-1-3-3 Pistoleer. I dont believe in tanking creatures so DONT tell me grinding Pistoleer is a walk in the park.

marco, you have brass, you get us nerfed then you come here and bitch as us for your selfish act. We cannot shoot at 1 second at novice unless we have a very good low delay weapon. As long as you have an AP3 weapon that has about 600 max damage which does exhist regardless of your lies and coverups, plus you get to shoot at one second like us, the only thing that was making us viable in the game was this weapon which is scaresly available for extreme amounts of cash.

I Don't know Marco, on more then one post you state taking the credit for the nerf on us. On the Rifleman board you where almost proud of it, saying you rather they did it to us then to you, when they wheren't even gonna nerf you to begin with. Anyway, I'm done with you, thanks to you the pistoleer's will no longer be viable since you can shoot just as fast as us plus do 10 times the damage we can. Thank you very much for being a selfish jerk, and I hope your post's of self praise makes you feel good, you have eliminated the profession known as pistoleer's and it will truely become the dabbler's profession by name since pistoleer's are now WORTHLESS!

You know i only claimed credit for the nerf because everyone else was blaming me for it(even thought i cant see how they could work up a nerf in 24 hours on a weekend this is SOE we are talking about). Most of my posts taking craidt for it were meant in fun and also a little frustration"* Intorduces Pistoleers to the riflemans close friend the nerf bat" how can that not be taken as a joke? Plus we have been hit with the nerf bat so many times it is unbelievable and some are not intentional nerfs i.e. krayt enhances, but they hurt us anyway. I am working my way up pistoller right now because if a mob agros me I need a fall back weapon, and i dont feel like spending 16 xtra points for brawler.

I'd like to dispel a myth here. Pistoleers do not shoot one shot per second regardless of specials. Pistoleer/BH shoot one shot per second regardless of specials. If you want to compare two then the closest you will get is Master Rifleman to Pistoleer/BH. Pistoleer BH has spent WAAAY more points, but its as close as a rifleman can get to us. Now that that has been said:

After Jaegan and Philosopher pointed out what was wrong with speed the Devs came back and said "okay, lets cap pistols at .5 seconds, carbines at 1.5 seconds and rifles at 3 seconds." That wasn't what those two were talking about, but the Devs ran with it. Pistoleers were not asking for nerfs, they were trying to make the Devs see their speed forumlas made weapon speed and special speed irrelevant. So...your corr goes off about how ours is trying to nerf you. He is completely vilified by the riflemen. Many of us worked hard to try and bring the two classes together because, hey, we are all in the same boat here, playing a game and getting nerfed and screwed by the devs. Now comes a "nerf" on the FWG5 and its a rifleman that started the subject. So do we crucify him just like the riflemen did to Jaeg and Phil? I'd like to think we were at least a little more mature than that and give the sort of response we wanted the riflemen to give us which is to realize they didn't nerf us, the devs did. Some guy pointed something out and the devs ran with it. Its not his fault he noticed something that was more than a little broken. So lay off the dude, and lay off the riflemen. Once our FWG5 is back down to earth the devs will look at other things and trouble will come to other classes. Who knows, by the end the DX2 might end up being the most powerful pistol after all! Wouldn't that be ironic.

So, moral of the story, Players don't nerf, Devs do.

T21 has already been nerfed silly

Number one calm the **edit** down. What are you people on heroine? For the topic of this you already got us nerfed, Pay back a bitch an't it? Well anyway the laser rifle does have a higher max dmg but also a very low min dmg. Were talking 60. SO i can hit 4k one time and like 100 the next, and when we get that sucker up that high it has the same ham cost as t21 which means we loose like 134 each shot of unhealable ham cost. Then the "great" t21, in the sw universe the equivilent of a .50 cal barret sniper but 1 shot a sec when portable and fully auto when fixed.Issue toelite rebel rifleman and to stormtroopers for squad support.Now tell me why can a pistol do more dmg in some cases then a thing that is used to take down force fields? Yes the pistoleer tree alone is pretty gimped but you got so many other professions to boost it. And do you know how hard it is to get 3 mil rifle xp? Espeally alone with no pet? We get a 2.5x melee dmg penelty. Trust me its very hard. So why shouldn't we get rewarded at master? People can master pistoleer in a month for a casual player, for a rifle it takes 3 months atleast. And trust a master who has gone through it. Its **edit**ing hard. Don't play that smuggler card with me eather your in the pistoleers forum not smuggler any way even with the nerf they got it good. All this does is is keep ya breaking 500 you still got an effective wep in it.
