Thread: Template Question Badger Please Look
Any template with x/x/x/3 CM in it is variations on a theme. You're going to give any melee mob a good kiting so they wont give you any trouble.
The rest that you chose should depend on your playstyle and what you enjoy, there is no "best", just differences in style.
The Improved versions work a lot better than the basic ones. You go from a 5% stick rate to about 100%.
Crazy I know.

thks badge! but what abt the effectiveness of debuffs in the cm0004 tree? does the snare/thyriod rupture slow my target down as much as a mcm's?
All you get from MCM is Improved Paralyze and Bio Suppression +25, so the Improved Drain and Rupture just have a shorter duration.
I was x/x/x/3 CM for a while and I didnt see much difference with Drain compared to Master, but I could never get basic ThyroidRupture to stick until I went x/x/x/4 for the improved version.
MCM gets vastly improved DoT stick rates and tick, but the debuffs work fine for dabblers as long as you have the improved versions.
You could always pick up some cheap bio suppression SEA's as they dont sell for much if you did notice a difference.
There is a very tasty combo for x/x/4/4 CM and Master Pistoleer, Improved Shock/Intimidate and then Improved Thyroid Rupture. Improved Shock reduces state resists and helps stick Intimidate which does 20% damage reduction and then Improved Thyroid Rupture reduces combat speed by 40 points.
I did this to the Death Watch Overlord, cl93 ranged mob, and it cut his damage output dramatically, so much so that instead of healing after every two hits I was healing every six or seven.
In PvP it is very nice too. ![]()
x/x/x/4 gets you Improved ThyroidRupture, 1/x/x/3 gives you Improved Bacta Toss and no Rupture, but you get Improved Drain with both.
You're better off getting either 4/x/x/x CM or x/x/x/4 rather than dabbling between those two lines.

I'd say take the healing for PvP and the Debuffs for PvE.
It's been my experience that healing is good for both, so I'll go healing... Wish I had more points to play with (don't we all).
Know any fast ways to grind to CM 4000?

The thing with the Debuffs in PvE is that you can kite melee and not get hit and use stimd/ruby bliel and the basic heals instead.
For grinding, head to Dantooine Mining Outpost, hook up with a group and heal them as they kill bols. Depends where the grind spots are on your server though.
