Thread: Template Question Badger Please Look

This is more of a BH question than a pistoleer question but I cannot seem to get anyone to look over there.


Can anyone tell me the difference between ADV Critical Shot and Critical Shot?


I really love my current template...But I also love hunting jedi with it.


The template in question is thisMPistols / MCM / and BH 3100


Wiht the changes coming up for only MBH to hunt jedi I am torn by which template I should have...I am thinking that having a template with MBH / MPistols would be smart due to my recent purchase of a DL-44 that is capped on damage and SAC...The problem is Ilove my MCM / MPistols template.


I don't want to drop CM because I love it...Although I am wondering if a MBH / MPistols template would make my gun shine that much more...Or would I be able to compensate with attachemnts.


My options I have on the table are these....


Option 1


MBH / MCM / Pistols 0004 - 140 Accuracy 65 Speed 220 Melee Defense 240 Ranged Defense


This template would give me all the BH/CM specials plus Root from pistols...I think a higher damage dealer than the Mpistols BH dabbler combo...but the speed and accuracy are low so I dunno.


Option 2


MPistols MCM BH 0400 - 158 Accuracy86 Speed 215 Melee Defense 209 Ranged Defense


This template would give me all the pistols specials and Improved critical shot (which I think will be nice after my gun is sliced for critical). The drawback is I would not be able to hunt jedi...I like terrain negotiation so putting the remaining points in BH is still a must for me


Option 3


MBH / MPistols / CM 1003 -200 Accuracy86 Speed 230 Melee Defense 250 Ranged Defense


I like this but it is to similar to my rifles template and I am really not crazy about giving up CM...but if it augments my gun in a way that is so drastic I would be willing to choose this.




Suggestions anyone? I am all ears to constructive criticizm.

(What really worries me, is that Badger was actually still in-game just now )


As a MBH/MP + 0004 CM, I'd definitely say option 3. Been considering going 1003 myself for a bit, but so far, thyroid rupture still appears useful against high level ranged mobs that e-drain can't negate.

It all comes down to your playstyle. More PvJ, PvP or PvE?


I tell you what, tell us what you enjoy doing in SWG and then it will be easier to pick a template that you might enjoy.

Well My Rifle/BH/CM toon is great for PVP...So this one I want more PVE...In fact...I am not totally sold on hunting jedi with this toon since I can use my main toon for that...what I am interested in with this toon is farming the crap out of everything.

I have a toon on my 2nd computer that is a master doc that follows me around as my personal healer/ buffbot / CH pet befriender so buffs are not an issue for me.

So assuming it is for PvE... which of those builds is best?
