B) You might want to practice a little caution when slinging Fanshot around on Dathomir, now that Nightsisters and the SMC have their powers back. Nothing willstop you from reaping "the sweet, sweet, XP nectar" faster than Fanshotting an Enraged Rancor lair and catching that Nightsister Elder, who just strolled into range, in the AOE and getting the crap kicked out of you. DX2smay seem pretty snazzy, but against Heavy AR, you might as well be throwing the DX2 itself at her. Not that I have any personal experience with this or anything.

How about fanshotting a group of ER's, only to agro yet another group of ER's. I wish I would of taken a screenshot. All 6 of them on top of me, while I'm dodging and weaving like crazy. I eventually got KD/Dizzy, mind incapped, and died, but it was a "interesting" experience nonetheless.

Yeah, Fanshot will hit everything in range within it's cone of fire... now this doesn't seem to work too well if things are attacking you with melee and are right next to you. But if you are fighting with a group and position yourself right, you can hit a whole mess of creatures for up 1300 points each(and probably more, I havne't seen much higher with my Char. though). Nice way to ern some good xp from hunts, you'll get a little piece of everyone's pie =)

Thats why you run around like a crazy mofo trying to keep everything in a line. When i leveled pistoleer on Thunes it was hilarious.

Imagine this scenario...

Your in your PA pvping and you suddenly notice your fighting a losing battle...

What do you do?

You tell your group to run there a** off and that you will hold them off... suicide?

You pull out your mind fire geo pistol and start spamming fan shot!

Before you know it everyones on fire and running towards a doc or towards water, not even worrying about the pursuit and giving u time to get the heck out of there.

Just something i like to imagine

So does Fan Shot actually hit multiple targets? Thought I read in the skill box that it hit a single opponent multiple times. I've never had it hit more than one target. Of course I've never really tried either.

Just imagine if we got a fan shot2 like riflemen get. A "working" master box area attack would be sweet.
