i dont understand why they cant just add a wepon to the master pistoler stat thing, if you are a master pistoler then you should be abel to master ALL wepons that give Pistol Xp, and also, i think that if a master pistoler dueled a master Bh and both used pistols that the master of the wepon of choice should win, i have never seen a batlle like that, instead i have seen a novice bountyhunter school a master pistoler. this is crap. also, DX2? what the hell is that, i mean come on, i do better damage with my fwg5, and i spend all this time thinking its going to be something worth a **edit** and its crap. hell my scout blaster is better then it. they need to make things a little more even, thats what i think.

That is exactly my point! Why is the scatter pistol a BH weapon and not a pistoleer one. You don't understand what I'm saying, you're stuck trying to explain that I cannot use it because it's a BH weapon. I know that, you just keep repeating the same thing. I know everyone can use everything even if not certified. C'mon... Sheesh!

Anyway I guess no one can answer the question beside a dev.

Because a bounty hunter needs a weapon of their own also. And they can't come up with some special new type of weapon that doesn't exist.

Maybe this is the answer Boldgrim, not sure though. Bounty Hunters use all different kinds of guns that no one else uses, kind of like Boba Fett has the sawed-off rifle, or whatever class is it, and no other rifleman uses that kind of rifle. Or what ever class the gun is. So what i'm trying to get, and not doing to good of a job, is the scatter pistol is a gun that only crazy people use, and most likely supposed to be illegal(sp?), so only a Bounty Hunter will use it.I think they should make it so that Bounty Hunters are able to take legal guns and make them illegal and they are the only ones who are able to use those guns.

I can drive just about any car I want, including a squad car, I might end up in jail, but guess what, it's a CAR just like ANY OTHER CAR. the SCATTER PISTOL is a PISTOL just like any other PISTOL. and for the comment about BH getting it because they spend more exp to get that weapon, ummm, lets see:

Pistol line of Marksman plus complete tree of Pistoleer = 92 points and 4,571,620 exp.

Complete tree of Marksman/Scout plus Pistol line of BH =174 points and 1,673,790 exp.

I think it looks like we have to get 3 times, count it, THREE TIMES the amount of exp they do in order to master our class compaired to them mastering their class. If you mean skill points, honestly, I would rather spend my skill points then having to hunt three times as much as them in order to master my skill, sorry. If we can't use them, then name them something else, not pistol, and not give pistol exp. If you want to compair it to RL, pistol will be the CAR and Scatter should be an AIRPLANE, not a SQUAD CAR, we can still drive it, just might regret it later that night.

Anybody can use a scatter pistol, no matter what profession they are so stop your whining.

Every combat profession except the tka gets certification to use different weaponry and now you want to take the bounty hunter's sole working weapon (light lightningcannon = broken) away because "wahh his is bigger!"?

Oh and the Bounty hunter gets no rifle skills, or advantages. Basically, when you become a bounty hunter, you trade in your rifle for a broken light lightning cannon.

well then Falator, I suggest you should be posting on your board for the Dev's to fix your bugs with your class and leave our class alone because we're trying to fix out class. I'm not going over to your board and telling all of you to stop whining and to stop wanting to be more like us or anything like most of you are doing over here. We want to be fixed, we want to be what we worked/working so hard to be, master of the pistol's. Currently we are not, and that is an issue! So you get over it and head back to your board and complain to the dev's about fixing your class. Meanwhile, we'll be hear doing the same thing for out class. If you don't have anything constructive to say or something factual, back off please, because we are putting in just as much time and effort as you are, if not more, into a class that isn't what the description describes it to be.

hehe I fart 40k combat xp and barely notice. The BH correspondant should check out our Pistol Special Abilities line

Probably not his real point, but it made me laugh. I have no problem that BHs get a unique pistol, I'm just bummed it's so much better so far than the DX2, our unique pistol. Maybe it's a resource issue or a schematic bug, but the scatter at the moment is vastly superior to the DX2.

Using your logic, why can't BH use a DX2 (not that they'd want to, but that's beside the point)? Why does he have to cert in Novice Pistoleer to use one?

I suppose BHs should have no BH specific weapons. LLC should becommando and scatter pistol should be pistoleer. Why should we, despite our requirements have anything remotely special. Ill use an FGW5 for the rest of my career I suppose. Makes sense. /sarcasm off.

Umm, wild guess here, but probably because he's not a MASTER PISTOLEER. he doesn't have the FULL knowledge of how ALL pistol's work, thus the MASTER before the PISTOLEER. Why can't Ranger's Track? Why can't Pistoleer's track down target's also, easy because we're not BOUNTY HUNTER'S. Same reason I can't use all rifles, I"m not a MASTER in that class. Hope I answered your questions

By the way, why is it so hard for you buys (BH) to understand that consept? Master Pistoleer means the Master, the professional of pistol's. We are suppose to know how every pistol works, shoots, feels, aims, distance, power, weakness, strengths, ect. That's what we have dedicated out lives to, to become the master's of this fine piece of steel called a pistol. You are called a Bounty Hunter, You guys are the Pro's, the expert's in tracking down people (bounty's). You have GENERAL knowledge of different styles of weapons to help you take down your Bounty. Each weapon you are familiar with will help you in certain curcumstances, for instance, you can go with pistol and do a body shot, or go with rifle and do a mind shot, makes sence, you adapt, your general knownledge. General knowledge doesn't make you BETTER in one area then another who dedicates their life to that area, try to understand that, and while your tring to understand that, please worry about your own bugs that need to be fixed and stop telling us how to play our class or telling us that we shouldn't be complaining about something that we shouldn't have..PISTOL'S.
