YOU PEOPLE ALL HAVE NO IDEA,,,, THE republic blaster is working,,, there is no faciton affiliation needed as im a full blown im on radiant and I use mine just fine. AS LONG AS THE GUN WAS MADE AFTER THE LAST PATCH IT WORKS.... go to a weaponsmith and have him make you one now,,, they work,..... SECONDLY the certification is broken as in there is none. ANY ONE from a master tailor to a carbineer can use the gun and enjoy full dmg,,,,, GO GET ONE,,, they are great,,, my KRAYT republic does 311 dmg and 1.8 speed,,,, with armor pierce,,,, THEY WORK

im a novice pistoleer but not heavy onda cash flow .. ive been looking for a nice rep blaster for quit some time to augment my scout blaster ...... i do not have 12k + to spend on a gun that SAYS its not certified but nobody is positive ......... im a novice Armorsmith so i cant really spend money w/out benefits ....i am going to buy one but if anyone is sure it doesnt work plz post soon ...thanks ..... ps. not sure if its better to get PRE patch or NEW ones ... thanks

Stooric my understanding is that only POST patch pistols will work properly. Go buy one and happy hunting.

philosopher, our correspondant has said on multiple ocasions that it works firn ofr EVERYONE including a noob off the shuttle, even if it says it doesnt certify (as long as its made by a weaponsmith post patch)

Let me just quote myself to be clear...All blasters constructed by PCs after the last Patch are usable by anyone, whether they have the cert or not. The blaster says you are not certed but it will workfor you. It will work with only pistol specials. It will Fanshot on Endor, it will Bodyshot3 right through the floor. It will shoot right through a hill. It will PMD1 without no frills. It will not eat green eggs and ham now enough with the questions its just Spam.

you can use any rep blaster made after the patch

the normal stats are different for every sever, but normally they are around xxx-200 andf 2.3 ish speed (a regular one)

the ham costs are rather high

the max range mod is no typo, it really is a pistol sniper

the AR1 works (I think)

AR1 definately works.

I miss a lot with it.

I miss more with the DX2 than I do with the Republic Blaster. But maybe that's just my play style.

I never miss with my Republic Blaster, but that might just be because I'm an Expert Bounty Hunter aswell.
