Why am I assuming that dual wield will alternate shots from one to the other? That would make the most sense to me. You can't really expect to be given such a potentially huge advantage of shooting both at the same time. Or maybe they can offer us a new special that will allow us to shoot them at the same time but incur a long delay. Similar delay to stopping shot and last ditch but I would give it a lesser dmg modifier, the real advantage should be multiple dmg types or multiple dots without switching back and forth (which isn't hard to do anyways)

Yay Jeff this might be better Though then I can't see the point of having duals if they fire one at a time at speed cap. Though the speed cap might change in "combat rebalance" At which time I'll probably come back to pistoleer

Oh well, do I get half-credit at least?

Lol, sure. Although I'm likely to be voted least suited to grade this type of thing. The spell checker usually highlights half of my posts beforeI put them up.

"are we sure that in dual weild we get to pick the two guns that we equip at once? they wont just be a new gun or type of gun that acts as one just shows you with 2?"

Oh god, what if the Dev's thought that we wanted dual wielding to be eye candy. I can just imagine dual pistols coming and pistoleers finding out that it doesn't actually change anything combatically. Then the devs won't notice when we say "NO! You did it wrong! That's not what we meant!"

Maybe the correspondent should make sure that's clear. Just to be on the safe side.

A suggestion for Dual Wield. Why not make it an enchancer like Aim is?

For those that don't know about Aim here is how it works. When you use Aim it queues like any other combat special. When it "goes off" it doesn't attack, it just adds to your accuracy for the combat command that follows it.

For DualWield it would work ina similar fashion. You would queue it with another command. Lets say StoppingShot. But it wouldn't add accuracy. It would reduce it slightly, however what it would do is act as a damage multiplier. A small decrease in accuracy, but if it lands say it's 1.5X - 2X damage.

This way DualWield isn't it's own attack, but can be used with other specials.

I guess it is all speculation at this point, but I think most people believe it will just be eye candy. Most likely you will see an animation of two guns firing one after another, but you won't actually be hitting mob's with each gun.

Than again, if it was just that simple, why wouldn't they be adding it sooner, when they have already shot the motion captures.

So, maybe they will actual figure it out for the combat revamp and then we will see it there or sometime thereafter.
